My Complaint : these people are professional scammers, hiding their extra charges in the fine print, and even charging on top of that without authorization. They obviously make millions with false advertising of their low rates, assuming that most people won't have the time or patience to dispute these little hits on their credit card charges. Don't ever buy from them, you will pay less and get much better service from teleflora or the other big companies who guarantee their service and don't hide their fees.

My Complaint : On January 23rd I ordered flowers to be delivered for a birthday that day. Only to recieve a phone call 7 hours later to tell me that they do not have a florist in that area that can put together the flowers I asked for. WHAT? How can you offer a service and then not do it? I put in the area code where the order would be delivered so why wasn't I told that those flowers weren't available when I ordered them? Of course I was notified way to late to order different flowers to be delivered. I send flowers every year to this person and was more than disapointed to have to call and say never mind I can't send your flowers this year. Happy Birthday! If you are in the business of delivering something that is time sensitive then you need to follow through. I wish I would have found this before I wasted my time trying to do business with your company! YOU NEED TO MAKE THIS RIGHT!

If you call to cancel, they make you listen to adds endlessly, and then say they cant cancel your account for 21 days.  It's a total scam.

I had no time to get anything delivered and the person I was trying to have them sent to for their Birthday didnt get a present that day thanks to this company. My Complaint :  Sometimes it is good to go into complaint boards and post about good experiences because there is always TWO sides to every story. I have ordered flowers from BloomsToday website. I took advantage of the savings of 50% off and I did in fact read all the details of the discount page. It did tell me that I would be joining BloomsReward and that is 9.99 a month and that I can cancel it after 21 days and it had a phone number to call. They also sent me an email with my password and login information. The website also told me about Identity World Wide and that I would be getting it FREE for 21 days and that I can cancel it during the 21 days or will be charged 14.99. I also promptly got an email from them also. People spend so much time screaming and crying because they make a mistake or do not read what they are getting into and never own up to their inability to read and take the time to see what they are doing. It is so much easier to get on complaint board and curse

and complain when in fact the error is on their part and not the one of the merchant. I received a 40.00 credit directly to my credit card as a discount from Blooms Reward and I promptly canceled my member ship with Blooms Rewards after the 21 days like it required and before the next billing cycle. I already have an identity theft program so I called them after placing the order and was greeted with a friendly voice who only told me the benefits and asked if I wanted to get them before canceling. I said no so she canceled it for me. No questions asked. Money is never ever handed to us we always have to do something for it. Just like rebates you don't get them unless you fill out a form cut pieces of the box mail it out and wait for 6 to 8 weeks. So for all you cry babies out there. Please read before complaining. Make sure you know what you are complaining about and do not post misinformation because it really would be YOU that are lying

The sku # and flowers pictured are $29.99.  After mentioning reward, rep states that comes with 2 mylar balloons.  (which you pay for NOT part of any reward) Total comes to $75.00 ~who in their right mind in this economy would pay this for a mediocre arrangement.  You get a $25.00 credit and pay for more than $20.00 in fees.  ABSURD!!!  Stop and Shop Floral does a better job.  DO NOT BE SUCKERED like me.  Used this company once, and once was TOO many!!!!!

After going through the process of writing my first card, entering the recipients address info, my credit card - at the very end they let you know - the discount is only for 1 set of flowers, and I need to join their monthly recurring billing program to join.

Having already gone through the process I decided to just finalize and call back and cancel.  ONly to find out I had to wait 15 days before I could cancel my membership. So now I'm still dealing with this thing, and am taking the time they've got me on hold to write this complaint.

My Complaint : Irritating Blooms Today Policy www.bloomstoday.com - They say that they are offering 50% off on your order, and will give you the details at the end of your order.  When you get to the end, you learn that the 50% off only applies to one flower arrangement, and that you have to pay $9.99 as a recurring charge to get the 50% off. Couldn't they just tell you all this up front?

And somewhere in the fine print it says you can only cancel after 21 days of membership.  So when I called today to cancel, they told me I'd have to call back in a week.

The whole policy left enough of a bad taste in my mouth to write a bad review.  Feels a bit manipulative and like they don't think my time is valuable.

This policy definitely turned me off to Blooms Today.  I will go with a less complicated florist next time.

My Complaint : Blooms Today at BloomsToday.com is a scam.

In September 2011 I bought flowers from them at a discount. Unknowingly to me, they signed me up for "Blooms Rewards" program, for which they promptly began to charge me $9.99 monthly. Trying to cancel the membership in this program does not work. They kept on charging my account until they got every penny of the discount that they promised during the sale. I had to cancel the credit card in order to stop their monthly charges.

In addition, absolutely unknowingly to me, they also signed me up for Identity Worldwide program, for which they charged $14.99 monthly, for 3 month, until I stopped the card.

This company is a scam. I do not understand why they have been operating like this since at least 2008. What can be done? Is there an agency overseeing such fraudulent businesses?

Name of the Delivering Florist :

My Complaint : Beward of the small print - basically the exact words said to me when I called about cancelling a program.

I ordered flowers and tried their Blooms Reward Promotion.  You could NOT cancel until AFTER 21 days - but you will be charged for the next month after 28 days (guess that is where the fine print comment came in) because I waited the 21 days (was out of town that week).  I called to cancel and was told I had already been charged for the second month because I didn't call at 21 days - I guess you must request your cancellation on the 21th day - but not a day before or a day after.  Extremely rude on the telephone.

Next, I find a $14.99 charge on my credit card for ID Worldwide which I had never heard of - that must have been in the fine print also.  When I called I was told this was automatically put into effect when I enrolled in the Bloom Flowers promotion and it had to be cancelled with 28 days.

So, you try the one promotion out - wait your 21 days and if you don't cancel the next day, you're charged another month's fee of $9.99.  Plus, without reading "the fine print" (again, as I was told by the Blooms representative) you've just accepted a promotion into ANOTHER promotion where you must cancel BEFORE 28 days!

As told to me by the rep - "... if you read the fine print in the contract ..."

My advice - skip the contract & skip Bloom's Flowers.  They TOOK me for $45.00, but I am still filing a complaint with my credit card company.

My Complaint : Sometimes it is good to go into complaint boards and post about good experiences because there is always TWO sides to every story. The old saying is one bad comment goes to 10 people but when you are happy you just go your merry way. I have ordered flowers from BloomsToday website and found a great arragement to send to my mom. It is so much easier to get on complaint board and curse and complain when in fact the error is on their part and not the one of the merchant. I received a 40.00 credit directly to my credit card as a discount from Blooms Reward and I promptly canceled my member ship with Blooms Rewards after the 21 days like it required. I already have an identity thief program through my work so I called them after placing the order and was greeted with a friendly voice who only told me the benefits and asked if I wanted to get them before canceling.

You place your order, and they enroll you in the club.  They bill you for the full amount of the order, then they issue your 50% credit. Consequently you get hit 9.99 monthly for the membership you never agreed to, and AS A BONUS you'll get hit for 14.99 for credit protection services (about 2 - 4 weeks later).

My Complaint : I ordered flowers for my wife's birthday around 8am in mid August for arrival before end of same day.  I get call at 4pm from Blooms Today telling me that they could not find a local florist that could deliver that day.  They said they could deliver the next day and I told them to forget it and credit me.  The credit showed up on my account.  I checked on-line the next day to confirm it.  In September, we noticed on our statement that there was a charge from IDWW.  Upon closer inspection of our August bill, the same charge was there.  After a little web searching, we found out that we were scammed when placing the order for the flowers on Blooms Today website.  We got set-up for this monthly fee for identity protection from a company called IdentityWorldWide (IDWW). - How ironic!  We called Chase mastercard about the issue and they told us they would take care of it and the charges were wiped from our account.  Within a few weeks, we got alert from Chase of some international charges.  We figure the same scammers related to the Blooms Today deal were some how a part of this.  A total of just over $200 in international charges had piled up in few minutes.  Lucky we had the e-mail alert option from Chase set-up to flag international charges.  We ended up having to cancel the card and get a new number.  This goes even farther.....Just today, we get an e-mail from IdentityWorldWide (IDWW)saying that our credit card company has denied their charges and they want us to call them.  My wife called and told them to cancel this account that we were tricked into it when we ordered some flowers on Blooms Today.  They told her that since my name was on the account that I needed to call and tell them to cancel.  Well, you know I did and I told them where to shove it!  Blooms Today and IdentityWorldWide are in this together - I truely believe that.  When we received their charges on our credit card, both were from the same town (Haymarket, VA). I am telling everyone I know about this issue and telling them to stay away from Blooms Today! - Scammers!

Re:       Incorrect Flower Delivery

I am writing to express my deepest disappointment in the flower arrangement that was  delivered on 10/30/11.  I based my order on the colors depicted in the section I ordered from, which was with some red roses only two or three dark pink, white carnations and a bit of greenery added.  Everyone knew the deceased (Katie) requested red roses for her funeral and

I was the only one who sent  All PASTEL  "SPRING" colored flowers.  I was embarrassed because I appeared to be the only one to  disregard the deceased's (Katie's) favorite flower arrangements. I was also very upset that the flower arrangement was done with all PASTEL " SPRING" colored flowers which was completely out of season!

Again, I selected several arrangements based on the red and white colors from your company and from others but chose yours

even though I didn't get the discount that was advertised, but because I liked your red & white arrangements the best.

I am extremely disappointed with your company and the flower arrangement that you chose to send for Katie's visitation service because it was not only NOT the colors that  were advertised, but they were all in PASTEL SPRING COLORS!   I do not believe that it was too difficult to obtain a few red roses, white gardenias and white carnations or that there were NO red roses, or white carnations available.  I also do not believe that your company's store could not at least locate FALL SEASON colored ROSES and CARNATIONS as was stated in your advertisement.

This is especially painful because I trusted your company's statement that in the event the red roses and white flowers were not  available (which I do not understand because everyone else's Flower Companies managed to obtain all red roses or at least  red rose and white flowered arrangements!) that then and only then a SEASONAL, which I understood it to mean this season, which is FALL!  That only then a FALL colored arrangement would be sent.

Which I could have accepted because Fall was the deceased's (Katie's) favorite season.

With deepest disappointment,

Cynthia Gee-Silva

My Complaint : First, I have no complaints with the florist.  They had Blooms Today call me when they had to change the order date due to weather, and the recipient was very happy with the flowers and the Arbor Day Foundation certificate/plantings.

My complaint, like many others, is with Blooms Today's deceptive "Blooms Rewards" program.  I ordered over the phone, and the clerk asked me if I wanted to join the program, which I declined.  Five minutes later, I receive an e-mail receipt listing off a 50% discount from Blooms Today, and another thanking me for joining both Blooms Today and a credit protection service.

I immediately called both companies to cancel these memberships.  The credit reporting people were pleasant enough, but the clerk at Blooms Rewards was short with me.  I made it clear to her that I was okay with the fact that I was not entitled to the discount <b>since I had not wanted the membership in the first place</b>.  After about five minutes going back and forth about "terms of service" and so forth, she agreed to credit me the first month's fee and debit the discount, commenting that this was out of the ordinary and typically you aren't allowed to cancel your membership until 21 days after you sign up (or <b>are</b> signed up, I suppose!).

I had ordered through Blooms Today a couple of times and had no problems like this, but due to these new deceptive practices I will not use them again.  If necessary, I will report them to my credit card company and/or cancel my credit card so they no longer have access to it.

My Complaint : Long story made (somewhat) short: I ordered flowers online from Blooms Today, I had to sign up for a yearly fee in order to get a discount: I did this thinking that because I send flowers a few times a year it would be worth it. I got an email saying that the flowers I ordered were not available and would I like to continue with the order with different flowers? I called them to just talk about the options and they were so rude to me and acted like I had no right to wonder what the possible flowers would be. Now when I am spending $60 to send people I love flowers, I think I have a right as the customer to be given some idea of what flowers would be sent. I told them I wanted to cancel my order after the woman was so rude to me. I really couldn't believe how I was being treated especially because when I called I was not upset and did not ever think the conversation would get ugly. I then called their main office to cancel my "subscription" and to make sure my order was cancelled and this woman was vicious. As someone who relies on word of mouth for my own business, I really cannot believe that there is a business that makes any money out there that treats their customers the way I was treated. It was such an upsetting experience and I urge everyone to avoid this company. I have never been treated so poorly by someone when I was paying for a service.

My Complaint : I ordered on your 800 number and ordered flowers and was not informed of your practices.   First, I was assured I would obtain a $45 discount from the $106.02 total once I made my email available.   Second, when I inquired I was told I would be billed $106.02 and on the same day [I specifically asked this] I would receive the $45 discount.

When I checked my bank statement online I discovered I was billed 106.02 and 9.99 for a so-called rewards membership which was never mentioned.

I called customer service with my confirmation number 96850402 and was told that it should have been explained and that the $45 would come 5-7 business days later.

I nearly cancelled the order but did inform your customer service person that I consider your organization unethical.   Had it been my business, I would have taken off the imposed membership charge purely for customer relations and seen that the $45 would have been restored as promsied.

It is clear that this is an economic tool to extract money from people who don't complain.

If this is not rectified in one business day, I will further complain to the appropriate agencies and professional business slources.

But my credit card was debited $78. Can you believe it!! I should have realized I was being scammed when a "Free Offer" popped up near the end of the check out process. Well it turns out that the offer is not free, it is not an "offer" (it is mandatory), and it not cancellable. And this company passes itself off as a legitimate online merchant?! Give me a break.

A telephone representative gave me the most absurd explanation. She said that I signed up for a Blooms Rewards program (non refundable) and also a credit monitoring service ($14.99/month). She said nothing about the handling fee. Who the h*ll ever heard of being charged almost $3 times higher than a binding quote? Who the h*ll ever agreed to give my credit card data to a marketing company that SELLS free credit reports with a recurring charge?

My Complaint : Well, I must say that I am glad that I did not actually place my intended order on BloomsToday.com this time! Part of the process of ordering flowers with the „50% off‰ discount is agreeing to trial memberships with Blooms Rewards and IdentityWorldwide.com. As everyone should, I read the „terms and conditions‰ and learned that, for IdentityWorldwide.com, I was about to enter into an „agreement‰ with AgillaPro, LLC.

It read, „These terms ("Terms" or "Agreement") shall constitute the agreement between Agilla Pro, LLC ("we," "us," or "Agilla Pro"), a Delaware corporation with offices at 15405 John Marshall Highway, Haymarket, VA 20169, providing a service called IdentityWorldwide.com, and you ("You"), the end user of this service∑‰ The address herein is that of Blooms Today. A call to Blooms Today rendered the comment that IndentityWorldwide.com is a partner company and not one owned by Blooms Today.

So∑I performed an internet search for AgillaPro and found NOTHING AT ALL, other than that the domain AgillaPro.com is registered to Flowers Today (a/k/a Blooms Today, FlowersSentToday.com, BloomsUSA.com, AmericanBlooms.com, LaurensFlowers.com, etc.). The registrant‚s email address was John@BloomsToday.com. Another search revealed that this is John Morley and his phone number is 571-261-2206. Before John began Blooms Today, he was the Director of Business Development at FTD.com and also the Senior Manager of Partnership Marketing at 1-800-Flowers.com. So he must know the flower business. So∑why, I wonder, is the company selling identity theft protection?

By the way, Agilla Pro is listed with the Delaware Department of State as an LLC, incorporated/formed on March 3, 2010 - file number 4795107.

Now, it took very little thinking last night to decide against entering an agreement with an LLC with a name which cannot be researched! I would have to say that Mr. Morley has been rather more successful in manipulative tactics than in proper marketing, seeing how many folks have complained that they were unaware they were agreeing to charges of almost $25/month in order to obtain a one-time discount (of a maximum of $35.00) on a floral order.

This morning I called 800-297-1548, the number for IdentityWorldwide.com. I reached the Blooms Rewards call center and asked the representative about Agilla Pro, LLC, the parent company of IdentityWorldwide.com. She, understandably, admitted not knowing anything. I asked to be put through to a supervisor and the call was on hold for nearly 44 minutes before they disconnected it. I called back and repeated my question and Jody in the call center rudely explained that I would have to email the supervisor at service1@identityworldwide.com. I asked if it is not their practice to allow customers to speak to a supervisor and she repeated that I would have to send an email and hung up.

So it seems as though Mr. Morley is not very interested in customer service either, just marketing.

All of this, and I didn‚t even research Blooms Rewards. From the multitude of online complaints, it seems to be a rather useless program. However, I was focused on who it is that is gathering „customers‚‰ identity information ˆ a particularly frightening problem, especially in today‚s world.

If you want to order flowers, find an arrangement you like online and order directly it from a florist. The 27% or more that discount online floral services subtracts from the amount reimbursed to the florist is extremely excessive. It would be to everyone‚s benefit (other than to the online discount florist service) if we eliminated the „middle-men‰

A VERY INFORMATIVE article/video from WRAL in Raleigh explains this is better detail: http://www.wral.com/news/local/story/5105785/

It reveals, the online discounters are„∑making enormous profits from doing nothing more than taking an order∑Once that profit is skimmed, Pender estimated he receives, for example, about $26 to fill and deliver an arrangement that cost the customer $55. The result for the online customer is a smaller bouquet. Buying directly from the local florist would have meant a larger arrangement.‰

COMPLAINTS:

One of hundreds of disgruntled „customers‰ who posted a complaint about the company found, „If you want to post on their Facebook page..you have CLICK THE LIKE BUTTON to post your complaint...they will remove it within a week.‰

But the following are JUST SOME of the sites where irate „customers‰ have submitted their complaints ˆ I am taking the time to post this on each. Note that many folks did not take the time to read the „fine print‰ ~ the website is obviously misleading ∑no∑ deceptive. Read the number of instances of failed delivery. Read the number of disillusioned „customers‰ who were treated rudely. Then SHARE this!

My Complaint : ordered flowers via IPHONE.  Inadvertantly signed up for some discount program $9.99 per month.  Unaware that I accepted terms and conditions. Never received material or email regarding "rewards program" (so again did not know I had joined). 4 months later and 4 charges of $9.99 per month- I finally found charge.  Asked for refund of charges for Program but because of "terms", credit would not be given.  I see many other complaints about the same thing.  When you call the company, one of the options is to actually cancel the rewards program

My Complaint : I ordered flowers for my best friend when she was going through a really rough week and found Blooms Today. It looked like a good website and the prices were very good. I picked out my flowers and proceeded to check out. Come to find out, the flowers are only well priced, if you join their program which is $15 a month, otherwise the flowers double in price (literally). I decided my mind was set and was running late for work so i'll pay the extra. I even paid extra for the ASAP delivery service so it would get there in less than 4 hours, which would have been 2pm. Needless to say, my flowers never came and I was very, very upset. I will not use this company again. Ruined my day.

My Complaint : My Complaint....Blooms Today is a RIP OFF and a SCAM.  I ordered three bouquets over the phone at different times.  Each time I was informed that I would receive a 50% discount but had to sign up for the bogus membership at $9.99 permonth and was unable to cancel for 21 days.  I tried to cancel membership in the proper time but was given the run around.  Each department advised me to call the other one.  I spent precious time calling back and forth and not receiving any assistance. Blooms Today said to call Blooms Rewards and so forth.  No one wants to tak any reponsibility for their errors and the manipulative misrepresentation.
The representatives were very rude, curt and short with me when I tried to explain that I had not receive the promised refunds.  When I ordered the floral arrangements, the reps were nice as could be.  Now I need assistance and can not get any one of them to assist me.  One representative hung up on me.  The reps talked over me, not listening to what I had to say.  This is to any one who is contemplating ordering anything from Blooms Today, DON'T DO IT.  You will be SORRY.
I will never do business with this company ever again and hopes no one else does.

I ordered flowers by phone.  Ended up having a $9.99 a month recurring charge on my discover card.  I have automatic monthly payments so had not checked my paper statement that showed they were charging my credit card this monthly fee.  When I called blooms.com they said I signed up for a monthly reward card that would $9.99 a month.  I NEVER SIGNED UP FOR ANY SUCH REWARD CARD. I didnt authorize them to bill me every month. The rep said they would issue me a 5 month credit even though they had been charging my credit card for 19 months. Supervisor is supposed to call me back within 24 hours.....we'll see about that.

They are very sneaky...I would never do business with them again..neither should anyone else!!

My Complaint : I should have read this page before I invested my time on this website. I googled funeral flowers an bloomstoday.com advertised 50% my order, it even shows the prices reduced. So after spending 30 minutes deciding what arrangement I would like and filling out the funeral home info and writing out my comment card (which was time consuming, there were many names on the card)....it takes me to a page that tells me that

#1 I have to sign up for a membership

#2 it will cost me $9.99 a month

#3 can't cancel for 21 days (have to do 10 min of reading to figure this out)

#4 I also get signed up for an identity fraud membership when I sign up for bloomstoday.com that costs $14.99/mo

#5 I don't actually get 50% off, it's up to $35, so my $120 arrangement doesn't actually cost me $60, it costs me $96.23!!! (plus the $9.99 I get charged for HAVING to sign up for the membership!)

$106.23 I will pay + the time and effort to cancel these memberships for a $119.99 arrangement of flowers, a savings of.....$13.76.

Don't waste your time on this website!  Go directly to the florist or through 1800flowers.com

If you are not paying close attention to the wording they use on their site you probably signed up for something you didn't want. When a florist says they are going to give you 50% off your first order in BOLD print, put the fact that they have to sign up for the BloomsRewards to get that 50% in bold print on the same page. Good job BloomsToday, you got me, so shame on me. 1800Flowers, I will never order flowers from anyone but your company because you always take care of your customers.

My Complaint : Myrtle Flowers (Toledo OH) did an excellent job with flower delivery and floral arrangement.

BloomsToday however, misrepresents themselves and leads you to believe you can cancel the rewards program and the identity program at anytime.

I did cancel the identity theft program the next day but I have to wait 21 days to cancel the rewards program..... noted in very small print on their website. I was charged the $9.95 and I have to remember to call on Oct. 10th to cancel so I will not be charged again.

Very shady. No wonder they received an F from the BBB.

I think we need to call our local florist and suggest they do not do business with BloomsToday.

Point out they are doing business with a company who misrepresents customers and ultimately reflects poorly on them.

Your discount will sign you up for 3 different entities, which have access to your credit card....and all will charge you monthly fees!!! To cancel you are required to call Blooms REWARDS, AND something called Identity World Wide, both with no relation to Blooms Today. I didn't sign up for either of these, at least not that I knew of!  Finally, be prepared to call each of these entities at least a couple times for cancellation, and then wait several months once they actually process the paperwork before your charges end!  After 4 phone calls I finally managed to get all charges reversed.....all of this for ordering flowers that I never even received!   This puts the final nail in the coffin for a man who doesn't like to buy flowers anyway.  This company has set the floral industry back 50 years for any man who signed up for this deal!

I spoke to a very nasty customer service representative at that time! I have paid for this order of flowers at least two times over because they are continuing to take money out of my account, and the last time money was taken out, it caused my account to be over drawn. Which means I had to pay them, then the bank the over draft fee. This company is truly taking advantage of it's customers, and their customer service is worse than talking to soeone from India! The bad thing about this is that you are talking to American women who have no compassion or customer service skills to save their lives. My Complaint : Even if what BloomsRewards is doing is legal, it is not moral.

The poor unsuspecting customer thinks they are buying flowers, and this confusing note pops up that says you get a free 21 day trial in IdentityWorldWide.com.   It is hard to catch this - you don't really know what it is or how it relates to your flower order.

It does not mention that you must call a SEPARATE COMPANY to cancel -- calling BloomsRewards.com to cancel THAT membership does not eliminate this second membership, too.

So you must realize, somehow, that you must call a whole separate company to quit that membership.

The supposed 'welcome' package they send will be trapped by many people's spam checker if they even  bother to send it to you.   You may think it is just junk mail, since you did not realize you were REALLY ordering this membership, instead of just flowers like you intended.

This business model is vile and repulsive.   This company should be the subject of a class action suit.

They secretly enroll you into a "club" and begin taking money from your bank account on a monthly basis. There must be some super small disclaimer on the site that admits this, but it ABSOLUTELY NOT CLEAR when making a purchase. These people are disgusting thieves. Go to FTD or something

The monthly fee for having this "service" was $9.95 a month, charged to my credit card.  After 30 days I called to cancel the service and was told that would happen immediately. 5 months later that $9.95 was still being charged to my account.  Unfortunately, I didn't scrutinize my bill thoroughly enough untill that 5th month.  I called again yesterday and was told the account would be closed immediately and I was to get an email within an hour.  That never happened either.  Luckily for me my credit card has been switched to another bank and Blooms Rewards can no longer withdraw anything from my new account.  This is terrible, dishonest, unethical business!  Shame on them.  I will be sure to badmouth them to everyone!

BE WARE OF THESE PEOPLE. Look carefully at yourorder confirmation and print it out from your e-mail, otherwise they will not tell you the truth about it.  You have to call "bloomsrewards" to cancel the monthly fee not "bloomstoday" EVEN THOUGH IT'S THE SAME THING. They do that to confuse you i think. I called and was on the phone foe half an hour. It was so frustrating that I was reduced to insults in no time.  I was as rude and as pushy as possible before they agreed to have a supervisor call me , which of course NEVER happened. They claim that every call is logged in the computer.  I called several times that day and after not hearing from them I called again a week later. They claimed (rudely) that I had never called before and there was no record of me calling or being hung up on.  That was enough for me. Fight fire with fire>  I called continuously and haressed the hell out of them until they just gave up andgave me the two month refund I wanted for the monthly fee.

My Complaint : When you buy flowers, you unwittingly sign up for a rewards program that continues to take $9.99 out of your bank account every month. Then they sign you up with an identity theft scam that takes another $14.99 out of your bank account. All I wanted was flowers for a one time purchase. This is ridiculous and will be reported to my bank and the Better Business Bureau. With all the complaints on-line about this, please everyone take the time to report them to the BBB.

My Complaint : Without my knowledge or authorization, Blooms Today gave my credit card information to a "Identity Theft.com" and they processed a charge on my credit card for $14.99 for 2 months, before I noticed the charge on my bank statement. I called them to check who authorized them to charged my card & asked them, who registered me for their services. I was told, that when I ordered and agreed to accept a 50% discount from Blooms Today, I had agreed to "their" services too. What a scam!! The savings was only $10; had I brought them thru another company.  If I had known it was going to cost me another $9.99 to be a member with Blooms Today. Then another $30 by "Identity Theft" a company that passed on my credit card information to, without my authorization. I, ended up paying more. Read the information on the "Blooms Today website carefully or this may happen to you. In my opinion I will NOT BUY ANYTHING else from Blooms Today or  I will risk them sharing my credit card. I do not appreciate their deceitful practices.

These type of companys give flowers a bad name.  I work for a large corporation and deal with people all across the United States, and I make it a point to let people know about this scam.  I even post it at the bottom of my many emails I send out daily.  Blooms Today does not design the flowers, either, by the way.  They pay as little as they can get away with to have the local florist they contract with design it and get it out on time.  Problem is, Blooms Today tells their poor unsuspecting customer that they can deliver it by a certain time, not even knowing if they have a shop in the area to handle their order or the right type of arrangement.  I'll be glad to look at the news one day and see this company out of business.

When I called them to find out what information  they needed, a female voice said "Hello", and that's the last I heard from my order. My Complaint : Responding to Craig Rowland. You must be in your 20's if you shop at New York and CO. The issue remains that their invoice goes on your credit card as three entries not one entry. When you order the flowers on-line the INVOICE odes not total out for the 9.99 membership.

I order a lot on the internet. The company I order from gives me the total of what was ordere,. the tax,  and the shipping. I then get my credit card and that total is reflected on my credit card. Blooms today online invoice does not reflect they are charging you the 9.99. There hae been many complaints through the years. When you join the Blooms reward it SHOULD be on the invoice that you are charged that 9.99.

In your post you imply that you kind of feel bad for the company......go to all the sites and see how this company has RUINED many peoples happy and sad days. They have ruined funerals, mothers day , birthdays, Valentines for many people. DOnt think at your youthful age that all these people on here just post to post..They are irritated, upset at this company.

People on here order one size of flowers and get other sizes. Your order may have come from a good florist they use....but your florist DID not deliver all the flowers that Blooms Today takes orders from. SO it is like going to MCDOnalds..your order something and you expect to get it on time and what you ordered. SO please compliment this company but dont you take other peoples complaints and just diregard them..You sound like BLOOMS TODAY NOW.

My Complaint : I have never ordered on the internet where my order comes in as THREE transactions on the credit card statment. They have one entry for the flowers(DEBIT). Then one entry for the savings(CREDIT). Then one entry for the recurring MONTHLY charge(MONTHLY DEBIT). When you place your first order the TOTAL you see is the (flower charge minus the savings=Total) . It DOES NOT SHOW the 9.99 monthly charge for becoming the member. When you get your credit card statment is the first time you see the 9.99 charge--DECEPTIVE

If you are a business and order flowers for a client and it is a business expense--it is a nightmare cause you have THREE entries on your credit card for one purchase You will see TWO entries as debits and ONE entry as a credit.

My parents never got a confirmation of their order or joing the BLOOMS REWARD--till they started complaining--so you dont know you become a member till you get your credit card statement.

SUMMARY

1---DONTt touch the BLOOMS REWARD button if you are ordering flowers once or you will get charged 9.99 a month-you become a member

2- If you ask for the 9.99 back they will charge you full price for the flowers

3- Their site says see details at checkout------the detail will show the flowers and the credit but NOT the 9.99/monthly recurring charge

Everyone when you use Blooms Today please note----if you are ordering flowers only one time and join the Blooms Reward they WILL debit your credit card MONTLY for 9.99. You get a first time credit of up to 35$then a maximum credit of 10$on future purchases. SO let me see--I pay you 9.99 a month for a one time order of flowers.

My parents called me this week and told me this is the first time they were "DUPED" when buying flowers online.

They went to bloomstoday.com to order flowers for an elderly lday was going through a hard time. Little did they know that they were going to have a hard time with BloomsToday. There order totaled 27.00 and they were content with that price. When they got their credit card bill 9.99 was added to the bill. My dad called them and they said well you becasme a memebr. he told them he never saw that he became a memerb and when the order totaled out it did not include the 9.99. He was told that it was at the very endof the roder.

After much research on the web..it has happened to many people. All of them say the same thing..It was not clear that you were becoming a memebr when you order the flowers. Some people dont notic it for months.

I dont know who to contact or what regulatory organization that can be contacted so they can look into this. This is decptive and fraudulent and an unauthorized charge.

For thos of you this has happened to. you have 60 days to contact your credit card company. it is on the back of your statment. Send in the complaint!!!

I am apalled at this and just cant beleive they do it over and over again..even though they have gotten all those complaints.

For all of you reading this. Go on the internet and do a google search for: blooms today complaints. You will see that complaint over and over and the company doesnt do antyhing about it.

remember the name BLOOMS TODAY--dont order from them.

Signed the daughter of duped parents!!! Luisa

My Complaint : This is the worst flower website ever!! I have used a couple and this one does not deliver!  First, it took me an entire day for me to get a hold of them!  After my mother (On monther's day told me she did not get my flowers) They told me it was delivered. It was not! Then they told me they would have a manager call me back about my flowers. No call back. Then they asked me why I picked that particular plant?  I said because my mom would like something like that for Mother's Day.  They told me florists have a hard time with stocking it.  I asked, why do they sell it then?  It is now Tuesday and still no flowers for my mother!!  IF YOU ARE READING THIS: PLEASE USE A DIFFERENT SITE! Such as proflowers.com!

My Complaint : I placed 2 orders through Bloomstoday online service. The 1st order was on 5/4/11, a plant basket with balloon to be delivered on 5/5/11. The recipient did not get it until 10pm that night because it was left at the neighbors house and without the birthday balloon wich I paid extra for. I then placed a 2nd order on 5/6/11, a mothers' day mug with flowers and balloon to be delivered on 5/7/11......it is 11am on 5/10/11 and still no mothers' day flowers were delivered. I didn't get an email or a phone call explaining why or what happened to my order. when i called the company this morning I spoke to a customer service rep who told me it was not their problem but they would refund my money and then when I asked to speak to a manager she hung up on me. I believe this is poor customer service and they should do better in such a declining economy.
I do expect an appology and restitution to my case.

I was extremely frustrated and upset. Oh course they were closed when i called back so I called today spoke to kathy and she advised me of the situation and said she could give me 50% off and have them delivered tuesday gave her my card number and then find out she cant do that. This is just horrible customer service. Then I ask to speak to a supervisor/manager and no that cant happen either. They should of never took these kind of orders if this is what was going to happen to people especially on a holiday. Its one thing when they try to get people on some membership thing then the next you dont get your flowers. Something needs to happen here. I expect an email or call asap.

My 20$order later became an unauthorized charge of 50$. I was completely blindsided!! And to make it worse I could not cancel my "bloomsreward" membership (that I apparently signed up for) until after 21 days. Needless to say, this company chooses an unethical way of doing business and must thrive of taking advantage of new customers.

My Complaint : The worst company I have ever dealt with in my life. I only used them because I was visiting an online obit for a colleague's brother and we decided to send a floral arrangement to the funeral this week and the Washington Post had a banner add that said "click here to send flowers". I keyed in all my data, including my credit card, then hit submit order and their system locked up. I waited a minute or two before refreshing and then hitting submit. Still nothing.

I promptly called customer service and told them the situation, they assured me that since my order was not in their system that the order/charge did not go through.

I logged onto 1800flowers.com and easily zipped through placing the order and received confirmation that the flowers would be delivered. Even saved a few bucks over the Blooms Today price for the same arrangement.

So today I get two e-mails confirming my Blooms Today order (it's a duplicate of the same order, exactly everything the same except it generated two order numbers). I call to get them cancelled out/charges refunded. I call my bank to let them know what's going on because at this point I have ZERO confidence in Bloom Today. Bank notifies me not only did they charge me twice, they charged me a third time!

More calls back to Bloom Today - no explanation given for the mysterious third charge, I am told they will process credits back for the two orders in question. I continue to ask about the third charge. After not getting a call back after being promised one, I logged onto Facebook and found their fan page. I clicked "like" so I could post my complaint on their wall and ask for someone to contact me since there is no corporate number to track these crooks down. Some lady named Angela finally responds by picking up the phone and calling me and is completely rude and tells me I need to have my bank FAX over a form to get the 3rd charge removed.

Low and behold I go back to FB and see not only have they deleted my posts, they have banned me from commenting. Additionally, Angela's last name is Bex and shockingly a gentleman with the SAME LAST NAME writes a post saying "ignore all the negative comments, I have always had great experiences dealing with Bloom Today" - if that isn't shady I don't know what is.

Totally shady scumbags.

I immediately called to cancel the order and the membership. They continued to charge my account. Have called a second time to cancel the account. Geneeva said I should have received a credit previously, which I did not. She cannot refund the fees they have already collected, since their records show I received a credit previously. She says she has now cancelled my account and asked a supervisor to call me back regarding the credit I never received. Do NOT order from Blooms Today. It is a rip-off, misleading, and deceptive.

My Complaint : I contacted Blooms Today on April 26, 2011 requesting an arrangement.  I asked if it could be delivered that day (my order went in around 11AM) and I was told it would be delivered within 4 hours.

I called back today (4/27) to verify that it had been delivered and I was told that you had no notice of delivery from the florist.  I was told you would request the confirmation and call me back.

I waited over an hour and then called again.  Same answer - that you would request a confirmation and call me back.

I waited for 10-20 minutes, called again and was given the same answer.  They asked me if I wanted to call the florist directly and gave me the number (503) 769-7673.  I called the number and it has been disconnected!

I called customer service (again) and asked to speak to a supervisor. I was transferred and the person on the phone answered HELLO?.  No name or title was given.  I asked his name and told him my problem.  He said that two requests for confirmation had been sent to the florist, but no response had been received. However his records showed that the florist had received Blooms' order.  The supervisor said he was going to see if he could find another phone number for the florist and call them.  I asked him if he could get back to me by 11AM that day (in 20 min) and he said yes.

I waited until 11:20 and called and requested that I speak to the same supervisor.  I waited and was told they couldn't find him and I was transferred to another supervisor.

She was very appologetic.  However, her version didn't fit anything I had been told earlier by the Customer Service people or supervisor.

I was now told that her records showed that the original order from Blooms Today had NEVER BEEN SENT to the florist. More apologies.

Now, I have talked to several Customer Service people (and listened to your recordings that say that your service is "guaranteed").  I have never been offered an appology until this last call and no options were given to me except that I call the florist MYSELF!

I was told that I could get a "discount" if I wanted --- and they would have the order delivered ASAP.  Yea, Right.

I said that I didn't want them to give me a discount - that I thought the arrangement should be delivered free of charge for all the time, trouble and effort I have gone through (from the results I received from Blooms Today, I think I did all the work).

I responded that I wouldn't pay Blooms Today to deliver and if they wouldn't do it for free that I wanted the order cancelled and no charge to be placed on my credit card!

Again, many appologies - but no service.

It is sad that the person I wanted to congratulate on her special day never received my gift.  Maybe someday I will be able to tell her this story.  I can "guarantee" that I will never use (or try to use) your "services" again, and will make sure that anyone I know is aware of how I have been treated.

My Complaint : If there was a possibility for a 0 star rating that is what this company would be getting!

I needed flowers for a family members funeral. I needed two SEPARATE orders and two DIFFERENT arrangements. I ordered them both online got the receipt for the first order everything looked fine. Then I got the receipt for the second order and it was the SAME as the first one! So I called and was told they would refund the full first order and place my second order the total would be around $60 I was satisfied.

I get to the funeral and they sent the first they messed up of two of the same exact arrangements!

I go home and check my bank statement online they charged me for both ordered refunded the second and then charged me twice for the first order again! So I wanted 2 arrangements totaling around $60 and ended up with 3 charges that added up to be $200!!! Then they keep charging me over and over for the rewards program that I didn't even want.

Then 2 days after the funeral I get an email telling me that the correct arrangements I had wanted in the first place were delivered. Two days late!

I have called and they keep saying it was refunded but they aren't refunding anything at all.

My Complaint : In concluding with my note below (posted on 4/5), please let the record here show that the intervention I received from the Better Business Bureau (BBB of Metro Washington DC & Eastern Pennsylvania) was the ONLY action I took that evoked a reply and, ultimately, a resolution from Blooms Today.  The ONLY thing.

Five emails to "concerns@bloomstoday.com" and four phone calls to their "customer no-service" resulted in NADA.  So, don't waste time dealing with them; go through the BBB.  In doing so, I got two very defensive (aka, BS) replies to the BBB from "Catherine Jenkins" at Blooms Today, but I DID get want I sought: a credit back on my cards and an assurance that I am no longer going to be billed their asinine $9.99 per month.  A fee that applies even if the customer buys NOTHING during that month!

As I said in my final note to the BBB just now, CAVEAT EMPTOR with these people.  They should NOT stay in business!

My Complaint : I ordered a dozen red long stem roses for my 89 year old mother who was in the hospital out of state on Wednesday.

I was quoted a price plus delivery fee after a long discussion of what I would buy. The person I spoke to tried to talk me into a monthly fee, I said no.

I spoke to my mother and she said she received the flowers and that they were beautiful.

I went to see her in the hospital a few days later and to my complete surprise there were only 1/2 dozen roses. I called the local florist and she said that was all the money they received was for the 1/2 dozen. They were very nice.

I remembered that the Blooms repre said she would send an e-mail confirmation but I never did get one. When I returned home I double checked my e-mails and did not have one. I called Blooms to complain, they said they would send the e-mail again, which they did not, they lied to me. Of course the chg card people can not do anything because I did not have a confirmation for a dozen roses. I learned my lesson. What a scam, I don't know how those employees live with themselves.

I have now sent FOUR emails over the past two+ days seeking a written acknowledgment that I will have that unused "monthly fee" refunded to me.  Again, I canceled the order five days prior to delivery, called to request the written confirmation notification of cancellation and refund in full, and I have not even gotten the obligatory "automated reply" to my emails!!!

I chargded these to my credit card then was also charged $9.99 to join some reward club.  I do not remember requesting to join this club.  I tried unsucessfully to get a full refund. But was unsucessful.  I feel I deserve a full refund.  I hope to order flowers from you in the future but if I am chargded $9.99 everytime I order flowers I will have to order from elsewhere.   SINCERELY John Ruzicka

I then called them and they said they would refund the money within 1 week. It has been 2 months and numerous calls later and they still haven't given me my money back.  They also set me up on that rewards thing and keep charging my card 9.99 per month, I told them to cancel that as well but yet they keep charging me.

My Complaint : I ordered flowers for a friend's funeral from a local florist  connected to Blooms.net. I supposedly agreed to an $50 discount which automatically becomes a membership to Blooms Reward unbeknownst to me. Two months later, charges started appearing for $9.99 for Blooms Reward out of Haymarket, VA. When I called the company, they refused to back out the charges unless I agreed to pay the $50. I have turned this over to my credit card company that has issued me a new card. Also about this time, we started getting additional fraudulent charges on the card--hmmm, coincidence??? I will never again buy flowers online with any company associated with Blooms.net.

My Complaint : My recent letter (below) to them explains the hell I experienced with Blooms Today.

Dear Customer Dis-Service:

I don't know why I am bothering to write, except for the fact I have time I don't mind wasting this evening because your e-mail address (just like your cancellation form), probably doesn't work either...another useless tool for scamming.

Nevertheless, I filled out the phony cancellation form you had posted in January (that you recently removed from the website when I looked today) and found when I viewed my account that you sly foxes billed me $9.99 again, despite the fact that an e-mail was sent to me confirming my Blooms Today/ Blooms Rewards cancellation back in January, and informed me that I will not be able to join again for at least six months.  What a laugh!!!!  You guys are so desperate to take advantage of me (and I see alot of others too) probably some like me during the time of death in the family and the need for a vase of flowers for their dearly departed's funeral.  See link below.
http://www.google.com/#sclient=psy&hl=en&q=blooms+rewards+cancellation&aq=1&aqi=g2g-v1&aql=&oq=&pbx=1&psj=1&bav=on.2,or.&fp=ee7ae51cefa9981c

Nevertheless, I'm very strong, heal very fast, and after noticing that you have billed me again on Feb. 17,  I phoned your Rewards Customer Dis-Service today thinking there may have been some mistake & made a mistake by asking for a refund.  Lo & behold!  You had some rude woman scarcastiscally yelling at me that I don't understand, that Blooms Today will continue to take the money out of my account every month in the future (not!) & that I just plain wouldn't listen to her.  By the way, what a laugh!  Confidentially, how much did you pay that clown?  Because she didn't intimidate in the least, and I do understand.  I understand that you are not above the law, and I understand that your website is nothing but a fraudulent webscam.

I have reported you to Mastercard.  The account that you have been billing me through has been CANCELLED (no more account, no more unauthorized charges from you!), and  I expect the most recent unauthorized charge of $9.99 to be refunded me immediately by check, and received by me in no later than 7-10 days from this date.  Failure to do so will, without a doubt, result in step 2.

In looking forward to my refund very soon...

Sharon Ramirez (the cursing customer that just didn't understand)

The rewards program is a come-on. A simple order that cost a total of 41.89, now has turned into a total of almost 112.00 being taken out of my account. I was treated rudely by a person in the rewards department when I tried to explain how I had been billed twice, but they wanted to cut me off and yell. Very poor customer relations. I too should have read all these complaints first. I am surprised the funeral home in Rigby Idaho still does business with them. I think a talk with the Idaho BBB is in order. After three calls and they are still messing up they need to just refund all my money for all the aggravation and time I have had to put up with.

My Complaint : First time buyer, and LAST...TIME buyer of flowers at bloomsofhawaii.com; Their customer service in terrible!

I wanted flowers deliver on Wednesday, Dec 8th for my sisters bday and new job. I was informed the order would not arrive until Thursday. I paid for 2 day delivery on Monday, Dec 6th. I apparently put the delivery date of the 9th, and if I did that is my fault. As I mentioned, this was my first time ordering from them and was not familiar with their website. But while inquiring about my order with bloomsofhawaii.com I was treated very rudely via emails from the company and basically screamed at with the use of multiple exclamations points. (!!!) while being told it was all my fault. There was no attempt to help or understand my situation. Their customer service stinks, and I'll bet their flowers do too.

Way too many other places on the web to buy Hawaiian flowers from and get that great customer service we 'mainlanders' have come to expect from Hawaii.

My Complaint : We ordered sympathy flowers last March for an old friend of my father's.  He passed away while my parents were out of the country but they wanted to be remembered to the family so I ordered for them, what looked like a beautiful arrangement to be delivered to the funeral home.  Now that I've read the numerous complaints about your company, I'm beginning to wonder if the arrangement was ever delivered (it wouldn't be a comfortable thing to call the family and ask, in light of their loss).

To make matters worse, we just found the time to review our bank statements online and found that we've been charged $9.95 by your company every month since March when the flowers were ordered.  I did notice the first time we were charged but being in a typical rush, dismissed it as some kind of service charge.  Now, finding out that we've had the same deduction made every month since then, I'm convinced that we're just the type of customer you're hoping for in order to make your money. I've found numerous discussion forums & complaint boards where others have posted the same issue which tells me that there are many others in same boat and I will look into how we can have these charges reimbursed to our bank account.  Although it's disturbing to discover that money has been disappearing without our knowledge or authorization, it's more disturbing to learn that a company that advertises a type of product and/or service, intended to offer expressions of kindness, would do so in such an unethical manner!  It's not just about the money, but it's the principal of the whole thing.  It's just wrong!!

Tell Your Story : Order a funeral spray totalling $149.00.  The spray was featured as $50.00 off.  Only until you checkout do they ask if you would like to join to receive 50% off of your order.   In other words, the 50% represented the $50.00 off ONLY IF YOU JOINED.

The flowers were never received on time for the funeral.  Yes, I ordered them 1/2 hours prior to the viewing but never imagined that they would arrive after the service.   I called for a refund, and was basically told it was my fault.  I have order many flowers especially funeral arrangements in my time, and that was the reason why I paid extra for express delivery due to the time constraints and also left my cell number in case this could not be done.   I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM BLOOMS TODAY AGAIN!

I ordered flowers for my mother-in-laws funeral by calling Blooms Today. I was quoted approx. $101.00 for this product.  Unfortunately, the product delivered to the funeral home wasn't what I ordered.  In addition to being charged for the product, I was also billed $9.99 for a program that was not explained to me by their customer service rep. at the time of purchase.  Blooms did credit my account the $9.99 when I objected and approx. $37.00 for the poor quality of the product.  Unfortunately, when the $9.99 was refunded, Blooms billed me another $50.00.  When I questioned this charge I was given the complete corporate double talk and told that the $50.00 was balance of the product ordered (because I did not continue to be a member of their program). I requested that the tape of my original call be reviewed to prove that their rewards program was not explained to me by their customer service rep.  I was told that they could not get the tape and that the additional $50.00 charge will stand.  Currently, my credit card company is desputing the issue.

Be aware, this company misleads their customers and suffers from poor/lack communication.  If the deal looks too good...well, you know how it ends.   Pay a little extra if you have to, just don't use this service.

Yesterday I purchased flowers online. It offered 50% off flowers for new customers. Even though my receipt stated that my card was charged $37.73, my bank account reflected two charges of $57.73 and $9.99.
Then I received an email today that said I had enrolled in a rewards program and would be charged $9.99 per month.
I called Bloomstoday and left two messages for a supervisor named Catherine. The rep was rude and said she wouldn't credit my account and if I cancelled the membership, I would be charged the full price for the flowers. This is a scam. They claimed the membership fees were clearly posted online, but it wasn't. Here is the latest email:

Dear sean faustina,

Thank you for contacting our Blooms Rewards customer care center. As requested, full refunds of all Blooms Rewards membership fees have been credited back to your account including the initial $9.99 fee to join for the first 30 days and receive all membership benefits. The 50% Blooms Rewards discount on your original order has been removed and charged to your credit card account on file. As outlined in the Blooms Rewards terms of service, any customer who chooses not to be a member and receives a full refund of all membership fees including the initial $9.99 fee join is not entitled to member benefits. Member benefits include the 50% discount received on your original order for joining.

Once your membership is cancelled you will no longer receive the $10.00 savings off your future Blooms Today orders and will not be eligible to re-enroll in the program for 12 months. Members are limited to one 50% discount per lifetime as stated in our terms of service.

Amount of original discount: $20.00.

Everything I ordered (from the arrangement to the vase and ribbon) was Different!  The only thing that was Familiar was the overall color of the flowers.  In disappointment, I called BloomsToday to express my frustration.  They offered to refund me $15.50.  A Full refund may require the florist to return to my Best friend's home to take the flowers back.  I only received $12.00 in return.
When I asked about the $3.50 difference, the rep told me it was either the $15.50 promised OR a certain percentage of the total.  That is the way I learned that BloomsToday does not stand by their word.

The rude and aggressive way the so called "customer service" representatives spoke to me on the phone was also disturbing.  One rep told me that I could not get a refund on my BloomsReward program unless I was charged the $20.00 (50%) I saved initially on my order.  This did not make sense since I had paid for Two months worth.  I called her out on the Negative tone of voice she used and hope the call was In fact recorded for Quality Assurance.  Thanks to my persistance, the next rep I spoke to Agreed to refund the Second month's $9.99, which I Did appreciate (although it meant the first rep had lied).
Needless to say, Next time I will choose a Different and Reputable florist to Give my business to.

I placed 2 orders on October 13, 2010. Both orders were to be delivered to my sister for her 60th birthday.  A hour after I paid for both orders, I received a voicemail stating that the Marquiata flower arrangement could not be made by any of the local florist in Michigan. Firstly customers should be notified of what items are not available in certain area's before payment is taken. I was extremely upset, because my sister was going to only receive one of her arrangements on her birthday, a 60th birthday is a pretty big mile stone. Customer Service stated that they would give me an additional 25 percent off of my order, I felt that 25% percent was not sufficient because this caused a great inconvience to me. However, I stated ok, I then decided to send the 4 dozen of roses. I was ensured that, I would be receiving my initial 20 percent military discount, and my additional 25 percent discount, along with no delivery charge. They stated that someone would call me back the evening of October 13, 2010 with the final payment amount. Unfortunately this did not occur, therefore I called back at approximately 7:00 am on October 14, 2010 and inquired about my final cost and what time will the delivery occur. I was told that the delivery would occur before 1:00 PM, because my sister would not be available in the afternoon. I also informed them that I wanted the 4 dozen roses to be all yellow with baby breaths. I stated if my request for all yellow can or can not be accomondated please call me back. I still at this time did not receive my final price from the represenitive.  At approximately 4:20 PM on October 14, 2010, I called the customer service department again and talked to a represenitive, who was very rude, I stated, at this point my order should be free, because of the terrible customer service I have received. She stated, I'm sorry, about the problelms, but I can offer any additonal discounts. I informed her of the Blooms Policey that states 100 percent Satisfaction guaranteed, and I would like her to forward me to a supervisor, at this point the phone went dead. I have never used a company that was so unprofessional and lacked customer service etiquette. Also on my original order that they didnt deliver on 13 October 2010, they state the refund for that order will take up to 5 days. There should be a immediate refunds of all nondeliverable products.

I believe my order should be free at the very least for my inconvience.

This is the most frutrating experience I have ever had dealing with an online company. They offer a 50% discount just for ordering FOR THE FIRST TIME THROUGH THEIR COMPANY and then the next thing that happens is they tell you in order to get the 50% you would have had to join the REWARDS program after you call them about your charge card being charged 37.50+10.00, this is a scam, misleading and there is no actual discount what so ever. BE AWARE THIS IS NOT A TRUE DISCOUNT FOR BEING A FIRST TIME CUSTOMER. I AM A PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR AND THEY STILL INSISTED THAT THEY WERE IN THE RIGHT, RIP OFF ARTISTS BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY AND TELL EVERYONE! I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH THIS SINCE MAY 2010.....GEEZ

My complaint : I needed to order flowers for a funeral in another city that I wanted to attend but was unable to. I decdied to go through Blooms Today. I told them that I wanted a medium-sized sympathy bouquet with multi-colored flowers - something really colorful.  What was delivered was a really wilted small bouquet (if you can call it that) of dingy yellow flowers with brown baby's breath. What a huge disappointment!  When I phoned in the order, it was not made clear that the 50% off was only allowed if I joined their Blooms Reward progeam at $9.99 plus $9.99 monthly, plus a $14.99 service fee.  I ended up paying over $60.00 for that horrible floral arrangement.  Now, I'm trying to cancel this stupid so-called membership and have been unable to.  BLOOMS TODAY IS A TOTAL SCAM!

Well ....COLOR ME STUPID!!  i based my choice of this florist because "Wesley Berry" sounded like a real professional group.  Obviously, i hadn't read the reviews. i ordered an arrangement very simple, very elegant ........ what was delivered (4 hours late was anything but ! ) -- i know, i really have nothing to complain about;  at least they delivered something!  But it was not simple and definitely not elegant!

PLEASE, don't make the mistakes we others have made! Teach your mouse to jump right over anything related to Wesley Berry ...... yeah!! RED-LINE THEIR SITE!!

i'd like all of us to get together and in essence "BLACK BALL" this site, vendor, etc.

My complaint : I ordered from Blooms Today seeing that they offered 50% off items they displayed on their site. I was charged 9.99 a month for three months, as well as additional charges for my initial purchase. In reality I paid three times as much for the item. What a disgrace and their customer service rep. spoke to me with such disrespect and rudeness, as if I was the one who had the problem. I will never deal with them again, and caution others against it as well.  The same thing happened to my parents when they ordered from Blooms today.

My complaint : I was purchasing flowers for a funeral on 09/05/10, the total order was suppose to be $48.28 with a credit of $15.00 for a total amount that was to be billed $33.28, at the same time and a $9.99 membership fee, with the option to cancel membership by 09/18/10. The Denver Fire Department FCU visa card was charged 09/09/10 for the full amount $48.28 with no $15.00 credit, we called the 1-800-520-0573 Bloomstoday customer service number on 09/13/10 at 08:00 and was given another number 1-800-371-6048 number for Blooms Rewards, while having them BOTH ON THE LINE, one on the cell and one on the landline, both advised they could not help me with the $15.00 discount, Blooms today advised they had me registered for the discount on  the initial order (which I have the e-mail receipt) but Blooms Rewards claims they have no record of any flowers purchased, both customer service departments were one of the worst experiences I have encountered. They both ended up hanging up on the call, no solution was ever given and no refund has been credited to my account. I plan on filing a complaint with the BBB and the Attorney General's office as well as contesting the bill with Visa at the Denver Fire Dept.. I just had purchased flowers with FTD for a birthday had a great experience, the adveritising and deceptive ads for Bloomstoday, drew me into the web site.

They delivery was on time to a B&B we were staying at, however the flower arrangement though very full was also very wilted (I have pics) what a shame for a 25th anniversary that only comes around once and such an expensive arrangement. Also I was sucked into the 50% discount, but never recieved any information on how to use it.Upon calling the company, I foun a very, very rude operator that offered little assistance with an attitude and a coplaint website that doesn't exist (concerns&bloomstoday.com)We have used many online flower deliveries over that years and have always been more than happy with service and product. This one has to be losing customers at a rate unequaled. Will not call in again to complain as that was fruitless. We are interested in class action or maybe a group going to BBB.

Very unethical marketing scam - misreprenting the 50% off as well as the $5 off when you sign up.
After reading all the posts, I am sorry to have ever given them my order. My hope is that the arrangement I was grossly overcharged for arrives in good condition to my family member who lost a loved one. Yuk! It's so dissapointing to be sending sympathy to people in need and taken advantage of. I will do my homework in the future. Luckily, I did not sign up for the "rewards" program. It's just another elaborate and misleading scam to take advantage of innocent victims.

Ordered flowers (of course) for same day delivery. Straight forward no add ons from their website. A site which turns from "Florist Henderson" to "Bloomstoday" before you very eyes! 3 hours later when it was too late to arrange an alternative florist they emailed me to say they can't deliver and I will get a full refund in 5-7 days. They take the money instantly but cant refund it instantly huh? The irritating thing is they come up on google maps wherever you want a florist. Pro scam job or what! What I hate is the fact that flowers are a product aimed at bringing comfort and joy and these ******s are not only ripping people off which is bad enough but they bring misery to people and their loved ones! A friend's mother passed away, and I went on the memorial website and while on it saw the ad for blooms today.. clicked on the site, found they had a peace lily plant that was $39.99 and now marked down to $19.99... I figured this would be great to send and at a good price.  I also had located a coupon to get 20% off.. I used the coupon.. the page showed $37.73 yet when the fee got processed through my paypal, it was $57.73.. I was like, whoa? where's the coupon.. so I called BloomsToday and the customer service rep said .. oh, dont worry, that will be refunded to you.  Okay.. well, the flowers were delivered... however, in the interim bloomstoday went in and did an ADDITIONAL charge of $9.99.. never got the refund.. so a $19.99 purchase has now turned out to cost me $87.72.. you bet your sweet petunias, I am going to be on the phone when their dang office opens tomorrow.. and if I do not get this PROBLEM resolved I will be filing a complaint!  I cannot believe I have been charged an additional $50 from these people!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am at a loss for words on my disappointment in their service and the arrangements I made for my Mom on Mother's Day. Knowing that Mothers Day was Sunday, May 9th and most likely a very busy delivery day in the floral industry I purposely arranged for the flowers to arrive on the Saturday prior, this did not happen, in fact they arrived at 9:30PM on Sunday, Mothers Day. First this is not what I requested, second I consider Mother's Day pretty much over that late in the evening. You can imagine how my mom felt thinking I forgot about her, especially since I was half way around the world in the Virgin Islands at the time.
Now to the quality of the floral arrangement. Very small arrangement, not what I would expect for $57.73. The flora list whom they contracted with resides over 30 miles away, during the day their truck broke down and from what I heard they had to redo the arrangements which would explain the late delivery, yet it was suppose to be delivered the day before. From what my mother stated, the arrangement was just a few wild flowers and 3 roses. This is unacceptable.

My wife spent over an hour on the phone at 9:00pm ordering 2 sets of flowers to be sent to a funeral home in San Francisco 2 days later. She was told a manager would call her the following morning to confirm the after hours order. No one called back, so my wife called again. One order had been processed, and they had no record of another order.
They would not apologize for their screw-up. In fact, it took about 40 minutes of verbal tennis for them to admit it was their mistake and they then offered to take the order again at the regular price of course, no discount for our inconvenience. My wife declined the offer.
We arrive at the funeral home to see the "Basket Full of Daisies" advertised on their web-site for $34.99 + fees + .... It looked like a $5 tub of flowers from the supermarket. How can they stay in business? They should be shut down by the Attorney General! there are Federal Laws about this kind of Interstate mail fraud! I can smell a class action law suit.

Greetings!
We ordered flowers on Friday, May 7th, speaking with Anna.  Our order confirmation number is: 96328610
Needless to say, it is very disappointing to Mom and my brothers who were depending on this order as well.  This is the first non-delivery of flowers since I have ordered them in 1972.
After waiting some time on hold, I spoke with Lorraine about 8:20 am this morning, and she proceeded to say that according to her records, the flowers were delivered at 3:30 pm Sunday.  I spoke with Mom last night about 7 pm her time, and she had not received them then. Perhaps a wrong address, or whatever.  We did ask for them to be delivered on Saturday, but an early Sunday delivery would have been reasonable, Sunday afternoon stretching it.
Lorraine proceeded to give us a discount on a reorder this week, confirmation number: 96331200, but the whole point is to receive an order of this nature on a designated day, and that is your job as a florist company.  You need to find out what your delivery people are doing and get your troops in line or change personnel.  We feel that with your 100 percent guarantee that you should step forward and give us a reorder as a complementary gesture to retain us as a customer rather than charging us a slightly reduced rate as Lorraine has done.  In fact, the proper handling of this would be to send the order for free and include an apology to Mom.
Sincerely, Jordan Dawn

I ordered 5 flower arrangements in one order from bloomstoday.com and have been charged 5 times now $49.75(9.95 times 5)a month for some rewards program I never heard of. BBB Gives Florist an "F" Rating
Reported by: John Matarese
Email: jmatarese@wcpo.com
Last Update: 5/06 6:03 pm

. (Full BBB Review
Reported by: John Matarese

Many of us are planning to buy Mom flowers for Mothers Day.  Or we may be sending flowers in the coming months for a birthday or other occasion.

But before you place your order, we have a warning from the Better Business Bureau about one online florist.

The BBB has more than 150 complaints about a floral website called Blooms Today, also known as Flowers Today.

Why so Many Complaints?

Most complaints do not concern the quality of flowers. Online reviews say the flowers are arranged by local florists, and generally are very good.

Rather, most complaints concern Bloom's Today's 50% discount program.  The site often offers you a 50% discount on your purchase, if you click on a box.

But online complaint boards and forums are filled with complaints that point out if you say "yes" to the discount (a natural response), you inadvertently join a rewards club that costs $10 a month, or $120 dollars a year.

So the BBB of Washington, DC gives Blooms Today (aka Flowers Today) an F rating.

As always, don't waste your money.  I'm John Matarese.

Order a gift basket for my mother for Mother's Day, the basket was 90.00 which was suppose to be half price. Bloomstoday did not have the basket delivered to my mother, they claim that they could not find a local florist to make the basket, however they did not have enough professional ethics to contact me so that I could have ordered from another florist. The B**)(* that took my order and her whole family can go to H(*( for not making sure that my mother got a mother's day gift. The Hell with Bloomstoday

Bloomstoday took my order on Friday May 7th 2010.
Needless to say on Mother's Day my mother did not get her gift basket that I paid 90.00 for. If ever I have be angry this is the prime case for anger.
They did not answer the phone Saturday or Sunday,I have to wait until Monday to talk to someone and did I talk everybodies Moma was a B(*&)( to me.

Tell Your Story : I ordered flowers for my mother on mothers day 5-10-2010, After giving my credit card information I was assured that the dollar amount I agreed to was to be processed, how ever when I looked at my bank statement I noticed I was over charged $25, this includes an on going monthly charge of $9.95. I want to warn everyone not to shop here, this is an absolute SCAM!! They have no customer service available and now I need to call Monday AND SEE if I can possibly get my money back and cancel order, here is the other kicker they have this 100% money back guarantee? Now I ordered flowers locally in Stuart,Florida from Bloomstoday.com and apparently I should be able to receive a 100% refund because my order was not same day delivery or shipped. I am on a limited income and every dollar counts, if I do not receive a full refund I will continue to inform other online shoppers from going through this horrible experience thus far. The further I look into this company the more bad reviews I tend to see.I just do not get why you have to scam people especially on "Mothers Day" you should be ashamed of your bad business practices!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tell Your Story : Just tried to order Mothers day flowers, thought if i gave my email I would get the 50% off, they also charged me for a membership that i didnt approve. Wording is misleading, I called and canceled order and rewards right away. Phone rep was nasty and started to argue with me after i expressed what a scam this was.

Tell Your Story : I ordered flowers from bloomstoday.com and spent the extra money for guaranteed before 1:00 delivery next day. Today I get a call at 12:00 and a message to call back because a truck broke down and would not be able to deliver my flowers. I called back at 12:20 and was informed my order was cancelled. I was informed that they could deliver later today if that was okay with me. I told them that was fine. My flowers were still not delivered because of this reason. They wanted to charge my card again but the refund from the cancellation would not be posted back on my card for 5 to 7 business days.Because of this issue, I did not have enough on my card. So, not only do I have to wait to get my money back,,I still did not get to have my flowers ordered again, nor delivered to a special person for her birthday. Its one thing to be deployed 1200 miles from her with the ARMY and not able to be there,,but couldnt even send her flowers. I trusted this company and got burned. I will never use this company again and I will spread my issues all over the internet and word of mouth as well

I ordered flowers for a funeral.  I was asked to get a discount I would sign up for email ads.  I was not aware it would cost 10.00 a month--What do I actually get for the $10.00 ?  Big rip-off how do I opt out?

It did delivered but charges additional $9.95 monthly

I checked my order confirmation for flowers to a funeral in June 2009 that I have never subscribed their additional services nor products. They charge me $9.95 monthly. I emailed to Bloomstoday.com and awaiting for reply since they have NO weekends answering service. It seems like a big scam to consumer

HUGE scam!!! Today I received a check for $6.47 from Blooms Today. It looked like a normal check and I thought oh, maybe they overcharged me on the one and only time I ordered from them (never, ever again) and are sending me a refund. I looked and looked at that check and FINALLY I saw it. In really small print it says by cashing this check you are automatically signed up for a one year long program that ends up costing you 164.00!!! What a hell of a nerve. I will never use this company again. I had a coupon from the Entertainment Book (I need to contact them to tell them about Blooms Today) and it was supposed to be for 50% off a flower order. Only after everything was ordered and all info given on my part, including my VISA number, did they bother to tell me that the only way I got the 50% discount was if I joined the Blooms Rewards Program. WHATEVER!!! HUGE, HUGE rip-off. :(

Blooms Today did not fulfill my order for flowers to be sent to the funeral home for a man who dedicated more than 10 years of service to his community! The flowers were to be from the homeowners' association - there was nothing there to express our thanks and I feel awful!!!

I ordered flowers to be delivered that were suppose to be native to the ST Louis area. They said that they would be able to deliver St Louis flowers with out a problem. What was delivered was carnations and other common flowers. I knew I should of looked up a local florist that offered The phone book is confusing though.
