My Complaint : I ordered flowers for my boss to be delivered on 12/15 and they arrived, but they were absolute garbage.  The flowers were torn, wilted and nothing like the picture online.  When I called customer service they were quick about resending them, yet they never arrived and today is the 29th.  I called to complain and the supervisor I spoke with was very quick about refunding my money and not in the least concerned about finding a solution.  I have always ordered from proflowers and this is the first time I've had a problem with them and obviously the last.

The flowers were NEVER delivered. ProFlowers would not even assist by providing the name of the local florist.

My Complaint: I recently order flowers from proflowers.com. Upon my girlfriends arrival at her house, she saw the Proflowers box at the front door. The flowers were frozen solid as they were left out in the freezing cold all day. I had also ordered another product from a rust remover company, of course that product wasn't effected by the cold because it is not perishable. But I have to wonder why Proflowers thinks it is ok to leave perishable product on a door step as if it weren't perishable.

My Complaint : Purchased flowers to send to my brother & sister in law as thanks for watching my animals. Flowers arrived but were a pitifully small bouquet, bearing no resemblance to the pictured arrangement and not worth the money.

I was acutely disappointed when I saw them!

My Complaint : 11/09/2010   Filed complaint with BBB:

When purchasing flowers on-line from ProFlowers.com I opted for a $15 discount to apply on any future purchase. Easy Saver Rewards, evidently contracted by ProFlowers to handle this discount, enrolled me in their membership program and has billed my checking account $14.95/month since for a total to date of $179.40. Easy Saver Rewards provides absolutely no goods or services for this charge. This is a scam since Easy Saver Rewards enrolled me in their program without my being aware of the monthly charges involved. And ProFlowers said it is looking into my complaint. Both companies, however, have had several years to resolve this issue of the monthly charges, but both companies have done nothing to stop the charges, or to rewrite the discount offer on the ProFlowers website so the consumer understands. Customer service at Easy Saver Rewards agreed to redeposit $179.40 into my bank account but has not done so. I have filed this complaint with the BBB, which has not responded yet.

My Complaint : My wife ordered a coffe/chocolate gift basket for my birthday and it was so cheap cpmapred to what she ordered and she spent ALLOT of money.  She talked with a manager today and was basically told that I received an equal value order even though it was not even close cost wise or quantitiy wise as shown in the picture.  This is the sencon and LAST time we use Proflowers and we will let everyone know in our circles including twtter and facebook what a lousy compay they are!!!!!

i ordered a birthday cake floral arrangement for a friend yesterday whose birthday it was.  a confirmation of this order was recd. by blooms today.  while online this a.m., i received a cancellation.  the order was never made.  a call yesterday so i could contact a local florist would have been nice.  i even tried to call corporate office today to see if a complimentary floral arrangement could be sent since this order did not happen.  el cheapo!  would not do.

i feceived a confirmation; my credit card was charged.  this to me is a commitment.  how could they be so cheap to try to make up for their inefficiency?????

My Complaint : I bought flowers from Proflower on March 31. After that, bills from EZSVER RW are sent to me every month. At first, I thought $14.95 was from Ebay sellers. However, I called the crediit card company and they said Ebay didn't ask for the pay. This month $14.95 was even charged twice. I didn't buy anything from Proflower or use any service. Why should I pay for that??? Could you stop charging the money and reimburse the money?

My Complaint : I am so frustrated at this whole thing...I have been trying ....in vain...to get all the charges reversed from my card for about 5 months now. The charges started in 2007 when I got flowers from my husband when he was serving in Aphganistan through he sent me flowers and I stared getting billed this charge from ezsvers. I thought it was from his magazine subscription he took out about the same time so I didnt catch on until about 5 months ago when we cancelled the magazines. So for all this time I have been paying for SCAM!!! I dont think ProFlowers should allow this activity on their website. I for one will NEVER buy flowers from them again. I have wasted over $500.00 on this SCAM. The magazine was a free thing for service members, and I didn't know that it was free, so we got rid of a magazine that we didnt even pay for thinking it was the charge that I was paying all along for ezsvers B.S. SCAM!!!

My Complaint : I just discover I have been charged $14.95 per for the last 14 months since I ordered flowers from ProFlowers.com.  First the flowers were not very good.  We received a mixed arrangement of buds that bloomed at different times and only lasted a few days.  Not once did we have a fully bloomed nice bouquet and then to get scammed by them really made me angry.  I called and was given a generic description of saving discounts. Felt like I was buying. When I asked how I was saving money from a company that I did not know existed, they said I was sent membership info to my e-mail address, which is not true.  They did promise to refund all my money.

My Complaint : I ordered flowers from ProFlowers (twice!) and both times, the flowers arrived on time, and perfectly fine.  The people I sent them to were very happy, and loved their flowers.

HOWEVER,
their 'partnership' with EasySaver is a shameful scam.

I was billed 12 months of $14.95, and once for the initial $1.95.  It's embarrassing it took me so long to realize I was being scammed, but I thought it was for something else.

I googled the phone number, and came up with pages and pages of people complaining about EasySaver. :(

I called EasySaver about 5 minutes ago (to the 800-355-1835 number) and spoke with a woman "Gina" who said she could give me a partial refund of $89.70.  I remained firm but polite and said that anything less than a full refund would not be acceptable.  Eventually she transferred me to what she called the "Consumer Affairs" department, where I spoke with a man "Daniel" who offered to give me a refund of $149.50 and then gave me a short lecture about how I must have enrolled myself knowingly because the details of the enrollment were on the screen &etc.

I just remained firm and polite, and he eventually said he could give me a refund of $179-something.  I reminded him of the initial $1.95 charge, and then--finally!--he said he would process a refund of $181.35 (the full amount) effective immediately.  He said the refund would show up on my card "according to the policy of my bank" or something like that.

The whole conversation took about 5 minutes, and was a little nervewracking but very manageable.

My advice for you is to stay firm, stick to what you want (the refund), don't accept less than you deserve, and don't lose your temper! That was the hardest part, especially when "Daniel" started lecturing me, as if I were just some stupid consumer as opposed to a wronged individual.

Next, you can report this fraud to the IFCC.  Internet Fraud Complaint Center.  The website is www.ic3.gov/complaint/

Good luck!  It's a shame-- I really liked their flowers!

My Complaint : Just discovered a $14.95 charge to my debit card.  The phone number on the charge led me back to Proflowers and Easy Saver rewards.  It's been MONTHS since I ordered anything from Proflowers and I don't recall signing up for anything. I'd say a lot of is going on.  Neither my bank nor Easy Saver are open to take calls yet, but you can be sure I'll be challenging this charge as soon as they are open for business.  Now I have to search my statements and see if I've missed this charge in the past.

Will not be using Proflowers again, that's for sure.  Always make the call to a local florist.

My Complaint : I finally discover the credit card charge from Proflowers/ Easy Saver just this month because I had had no charges on my card, so when the $14.95 charge from Easy Saver appeared, I checked and found that I had been paying this scam charge since March 2009.

I am in Mexico right now and do not have the access code for the 800 number for Easy Saver. I emailed Proflowers and received a rapid response. After a few emails, I said I would file a complaint with the Attorney General of Oregon, notify the Better Business Bureau, post a notice on my blog and website. As of today, I was told that all the money that was charged to my credit card, $256.10 would be returned to me by crediting my card as well as by check. We'll see...

My Complaint : Well I went through the  time consuming process of getting all those scammed charges off of my card that totaled more than 80 dollars. Yeah I did not read the fine print! I though i was just ordering flowers,I mean they advertise as a flower business, and not a company or something like that.Posted remarks much the same as every other dissatisfied customer, even received the phone call from customer service trying to lure me back in! The latest event was sending me a check for a few bucks for my dis-satisfaction only to read "upon cashing this check you will be billed the 14.95 per month" for the other services. I have been in business for many years and find this company to be run by a bunch of scum bags. Take your business to your local trustworthy store. Look past this company there are still honest ones out there.

The roses were supposed to be 2 dozen I counted 23 and one of those was not connected to the stem at all. The roses were supposed to be 2 dozen I counted 23 and one of those was not connected to the stem at all. Also, the flowers looked so dead they looked rusted but no amount  is going to fix the problem. My plan is to not use proflowers again not worth the secret price total and back handed business practices.

My Complaint : Please advise why my daughter never
received her flowers for Mothers Day.
Her name is Tanya Baker-Williams,
1003 Richmond Drive, Marshall, Texas

I cannot find the picture of the rose
bouquet I ordered.  It was a dozen of
assorted Roses in a lime green vase.
The original cost $39.99 -- ($l9.99).

Your flowers really look beautiful.  I
hope you will advise me what happened
to the ones I ordered for her.  I had
them billed to PayPal on May 5, 2010.

My Complaint : If you are planning to order from this place, there are some things you should know. You will not be receiving anything resembling the picture you see on the website. What you will receive is a bundle of tightly wrapped flowers with instructions on how to assemble your own arrangement. I ordered a "100 Rose Bud" or 30 stem arrangement. The instructions informed me that I should trim 2 inches off of each stem and peel off the "protective petals" from EACH bud. So, the message I sent my wife was "Happy Mothers Day, now get to work!". What was I paying for?

You pay for a "delivery" charge, which I believed to be from a florist. It was "delivered" in a box by UPS after riding all day in a hot truck. Then, after unwrapping and assembling this thing, I had actually received 65 buds and 16 stems that were nearly all dead within 5 days.

I will say that they replaced the order and got it right, but, it kinda lessens the surprise when the order is so screwed up to begin with.

My Complaint : WOW! I, like everyone writing here, had a bad experience with Proflowers. I called today to question the two delivery charges on my bill. I explained to the rep that I would never use this website because the charges were not clear for a Saturday delivery. I demanded to speak to a manager and she did get one on the line and I explained that I could use a local florist to deliver flowers for approx 10 bucks. After he "taught me my lesson" on how the charges are highlighted on the website and the company feels they explain things properly, he advised me he would refund the normal delivery charge of 11.99 to my credit card. I just won't use them again and get off my lazy duff earlier and use a florist where my mother lives. Lesson learned! Cheers!

My Complaint : This is a TOTAL scam!!!  I ordered flowers for Mother's Day for your scam pop-up add for 19.99 the Friday for Mother's Day!!!  Your add stated-(Mother's Day Delivery)!!!  I then opened my bank account and you charged my account 67.95!!!  These charged were not indicated when I purchased the flowers.  If I would have known the charges were this high, I would have called a florist close to my mother-in-law and had them delivered for CHEAPER!!! I called your company this am when I saw my bank account and they said they tacked on 16.99 for the vase which wasn't indicated on the vase when I purchased it. Then 14.99 for shipping then an additional 19.99 for Fed-Ex delivery THEN another 2.99 for handling!! I will NEVER use this company again and will tell everyone I know what you are doing to people.... Ripping them off!!!

My Complaint :  I ordered a flower arrangement from Pro-flowers on Thursday morning May 6st, My order confirmation stated that the flowers would arrive on Sat May 8th, just in time for Mothers Dat. My credit card was charged a 13.99 standard delivery fee, plus, 4.99 or close to that, weekend delivery surcharge. I stated that if no one answered the could leave it at the door. Called my Mother on Sun, Mothers day, to wish her a Happy Mothers day and to see if she had gotten her flowers. Sadly, she had not, they never arrived. Epic failure. I emailed Pro-flowers customer service and asked for a chargeback for the price of flowers never received. After reading other reviews here, its probably better that she didn't get them, as i didn't know they came in a box and required  arranging. The total price was $62.51, nothing extravagant, but for that price i would have expected timely delivery and assembled flowers that resembled the picture on the website. End of story- Pro-flowers is quick to bill your credit card but didn't come through and my Mother had no flowers on Mothers day and i looked like a scmuck. Would never use them again, even if they offered me a rebate. You state a definite delivery time, i expect that you come through.

My Complaint : At first I thought Proflowers was fine.  They got my friend's bouquet to her (a few days late, but it was snowing in her town, so understandable) and yeah, they enrolled me in all sorts of spam for them, and a cookie company, and a card company, none of which I wanted, but a simple "unsibscribe" button did the trick for those annoyances.

THEN I DISCOVERED THAT EZSVER HAD BEEN TAKING $14.95 FROM MY CHECKING ACCOUNT EVERY MONTH!!!

Completely unacceptable!  Everyone should know what a scam Proflowers is, to automatically enroll people in a program which essentially steals their money without consent or ever informing them of the program.  Needless to say I will never use them again, and I will caution everyone else I know to avoid this company at all costs.

My Complaint : I purchased flowers thru Pro Flowers for Mothers Day and was guaranteed they would be delivered by 5:00 on Mothers Day.  At five minutes after 5:00 I called to see where they were at.  Pro Flowers transferred me to their "sister company" Florist Express who told me that they weren't able to make the delivery and they would now guarantee delivery by Tuesday afternoon. Pro Flowers had my phone number and never contacted me to let me know I wouldn't get the flowers on the date they promised.  I cancelled my order.  Reading the multitude of horror stories esp. with these $14.95 monthly charges people have received on their credit card bothers me as that is how I paid.  This was my first time using Pro Flowers and this will be my last.  Not only do they not do as they say they will, they charge their customer bogus charges each and every month.  Wish I had done some research first, I could have saved my self a headache and my mother would have gotten her Mothers Day flowers on Mothers Day. Stay away from Pro Flowers and find an honest company to deal with........

My Complaint : Warning!! I will never buy flowers from Pro Flowers again! They charged for a vase I did not order and the delivery charge was 3 X's the florist charges. I also did not realize the person you send the flowers too have to arrange them on delivery (if they are home when they come to get them out of the elements). If your not home they are just left at the door and they charge extra for saturday delivery and charge a handling fee. I paid like $40 more for the same flowers ordered through other sites that use florists and if you apply for the $15 discount offered at the end of the orders you will have your cc information sent to another company that charge you $14.99 a month for some service no one knows what they do!! Look it up, I wish I had.

I didn't sign up for their program, nor did I ever purchase anything from ProFlowers as my record shows. Apparently tey took my information or it was sold to them because I only looked at ProFlowers site, but did not purchase anything in the end. My Complaint : I had a similar experience I finally resolved today.  I was being charged $14.95 per month since the end of 2008!  I have a similar charge for a charity I give to and wrongly assumed this was the method they used to deduct the donation from my account.  EZSVER agreed to refund all but two of the charges.  I questioned why I would not get a complete refund, as I never signged up for this service, but the representative to spoke to had no answer.  She was incredibly rude, and truthfully, I was so angry that I couldn't wait to get off the phone.  We'll see if I actually get my money back.  There needs to be a Proflowers and EZSVER for this scam.

It appears you are aware of this problem after looking at your site.  This pratice is under handed and may not be legal.  It has caused me cease shopping at your site.  By the way, my Mom loved your flowers and So does Glenn Beck...my next e-mail is to Glenn's web site. Maybe he can afford this scam but I can't. If It's any comfort FTD hit me up for  a $12.00 re occuring charge and I have closed my account with them also.

My Complaint : I ordered the special 200 Peruvian lilies along with a $50 Restaurant card for my sisters B-day. She got the flowers but no gift card. It looked like gift or something. Plus in the same order got flowers for my other sister who was also having a Birthday.  I contacted pro-flowers and all I got was sorry can't help you. When the order was placed was assured by the operator that all I was ordering would be delivered. I spent $130.00! And to be told to bad, its not their responsibilty to deliver what was ordered?  I will never order from this company again and will be sure to tell ALL my friends, family and who ever will listen not to do business with this company ever!

I'm spreading the word about ProFlowers.

My son was nice enough to send me a dozen roses on Valentine's Day. After several hours, it was clear the flowers were dying. I called and a "customer service representative" told me the sender had to call with any complaints. This, of course, is embarrassing, since you now have to tell the person who was kind enough to send you a gift that their gift was awful.

I called my son, who immediately called ProFlowers, arranging for new to be shipped on Tuesday. The flowers arrived today, and two roses had brown, broken stems (clearly forced upright prior to wrapping and shipping). The rest of the flowers don't look much better than the first shipment.

A note that came with the new shipment said, "Sorry for the problem." I have photos of everything and wish I could post them here, so everyone could see the disgusting flowers ProFlowers shipped.

This is the third problem I've had in 3 dealings with ProFlowers. There definitely won't be a fourth.

Ordered flowers from you not long ago.  I did not use a credit card.  However, opening a credit card statement yesterday, I found two charges of $14.95 (total $29.90 - 11 January and 8 February 2010)each from Easy Savers800-355-1837MD.  I did not authorize these charges and want them removed right away.  ProFlowers needs to do something to stop Easy Savers from accessing customers' accounts.  I will not be ordering from ProFlowers in the future.  I am retired and cannot afford to be billed $14.95 for nothing each month after ordering from you.

I ordered flowers from your company in December.  Shortly thereafter, I have been receiving erroneous charges on my American Express starting with a one time $1.95 charge and then $14.95 each month. After investigating this fraud over the internet, I found that this has become a national fraud.  I found out that ProFlowers sells your information to Encore Marketing, and they bill you every month.  What a scam!!!

I have been using Pro Flowers for the past 4 years or so.  I had never had any problems until my most recent order.

First off, I placed an order for 2 dozen roses that included a free and was supposed to include a restaurant.com gift card.  My fiancé's birthday is February 13 and she works as a teacher so she was off school the 12th and 15th for a school break.  With the high volume for the Valentine's Day holiday I thought the February 11th delivery would be ideal.  The purpose of sending flowers to her work location would be for her to receive the flowers, enjoy them at work, and let her coworkers see and enjoy them as well.  To ensure they would be sent early, I even paid $9.99 extra so they would get delivered before 10 a.m.  While tracking the flowers all day, I saw they had not been delivered.  I came home and my fiancé explained that they had finally been delivered after 3:30, almost 6 hours after they were promised.  She had left the building and got about .5 miles from home when a coworker who happened to be working late saw them sitting in the office and called her.  She had to drive back to work (about 15 miles) to pick them up.  Had she not, they would have been sitting there 5 days as the school was closed.  She had to drive almost 30 miles and spend over an hour extra in the car to pick up her gift.

In addition to the horrible delivery, I still have not received my restaurant.com gift card via mail or email.

This whole experience has had me question why I spent over $80 during these tough economic times to pay for a service with my satisfaction being 0% right now.  I paid the price thinking #1 my gift would arrive when promised and #2 for a restaurant.com gift card as a bonus, which I never received.  I was set to go with a local florist for this who could not guarantee a delivery before 1 p.m.  I now tremendously regret using ProFlowers. I have used the service at least 5 times in the past year for over $300 in sales.

This is amazing. For the 3rd year in a row, Proflowers does not deliver my flowers on time or at all. Last year (2009), I called after paying a special rate to get a delivery by a certain date and the florist showed up to my doorstep at 9pm on the day of the event....only after I had called customer service almost a dozen times to ask where my flowers were. Was any coupon or free shipping on your next order offered? No! Just that they - Proflowers  - had no control over the local florists...then why are you doing business with them?

This year (2010), I ordered flowers on feb 8th on behalf of my children for their mothers birthday 5 business days ahead of the date(feb 13th) . On the agreed delivery day, while sitting at home, I get an e-mail stating that the flowers had just been delivered. I go to the front door to check if they were lefy on the porch...no flowers. I call proflowers and I'm told they still have until the end of the day to deliver and that UPS mixed up tracking numbers, so my tracking number is incorrect. Ok, please let me have the right tracking number, to which the agent replies that they do not have it and have absolutely no idea what my order status is, but they can confirm that the money has been deducted from my credit card.

I called again late that night (feb 12th), still no news, just the same information. I am told that maybe they will get delivered the next day. That didn't happen and it is now Feb 16th, no call to explain, offer a refund, offer flowers, nothing. I have just called and the best that could be done was to be told that I can can get a refund, after 5 business days. Did it take 5 business days to take it out of my account and hold it for over 2 weeks without rendering any service whatsover? No!

I assumed the first years was an accident that can happen to anyone, the 2nd year was annoying, but I kept faith....every business has troubles, but 3 years in a row. I will be reporting to the Better business bureau for what its worth and the will sign up to a website thats collecting information from disatisfied Proflowers ex-customers in a bid to sign up enough people to get the media to make a story out of it on the news. This is terrible management. If the florists cannot fill the orders, why have them as your reps.

Shocking!!

I ordered flowers from proflowers last year for mothers day....  and now 1 yr later i find out that they somehow gave my credit card to another company and they have been charging me 14.95 for the last year....    they are saying that i clicked on something that said free 15 dollars.... but somehow they have charged me 15 dollars a year and not given me anything.   tell me how this is legal or ethical...  i am very disappointed with my experience.  i will not ever use proflowers again.  1800 flowers may be more expensive but i've never had to pay 150 dollars for a years worth of nothing with them.  i will be telling everyone i can about this experience and expect my money returned to me.  proflowers should be ashamed and should stop doing business with this other company immediately.

Ordered Valentines flowers etc to be DELIVERED on Valentines DAY!  Four Seasons Florist in Washington called the day before and left a number.  The recipient of the flowers called the number several times along with a different number left on the caller ID - both  rang and rang with NO ONE Answering the phone.
Finally on the DAY AFTER Valentines DAY - someone answered the phone.  The Lady that answered was very rude as I mentioned that no one answered the phone for two days.  The Lady responded that she has answered the phone on every ring and was working from 5am to 1am everyday.  This lady continued to argue as I explained my trouble.  VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!  WHATEVER HAPPENED TO DELIVERY AND FLOWERS BEING A SURPRISE???  WILL NEVER EVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN AND WILL DEFINATELY LET MY LOCAL RESIDENTS KNOW MY EXPERIENCE.

The Proflowers assured that the flowers and chocolate and the card supposed to be delivered by Saturday Feb 13, 2010.  Our family ordered from them on Wed., Feb. 10, and paid $29.99 for the delivery. The total cost was $102.99, and the site was linked with other sites such as "freeshipping, netflix, and so on.....Fortunately, we just don't have so much time to sign up for them all.  We're so glad after reading these Proflower's Complaints.  What happened?  Oh, forget about calling the customer service unless you speak GREEK/CHINESE/LATIN/FRENCH all at once. Ordered flowers to be delivered today (valentines day).

Recieved the flowers in the morning. They delivered early and on time so 1 + ..

However, The flowers that we received were horrific.. they are fricken DEAD .. well maybe 12 hours of life left back in them. Now i could understand a few flowers but we are talking every one of them, all 24. Oh, Just not the flowers either .. we are talking the wilting greens, the browning and what i guess you would call baby's breath ..

I can not believe what I am looking at. I am pissed off beyond words. I did call proflowers and waited on hold for 25 minutes, listening to how fresh their flowers are and how great they are ... bla bla bla .. I think they left me on hold that long thinking i'd cool down .. Heres a tip for ya, The longer you let the fire burn - the hotter it gets.

They told me they would resend the flowers, but she wont get them till tuesday the 16th.

Unbelieveable! .. I'll see how it goes on the 16th, but seriously, proflowers you are by far SUB grade flower service.  This is the first time I used you, prior it has been with FTD .. I thought i'd give you a shot as you were just slightly cheaper and you had something unique that they didnt have. Never knew that with that uniqueness that it included Stems as flowers. hahahah Sad very sad.

You get 2 chances, Tuesday is your second. I will dispute the charges on the CC and I will get that money refunded. You dont spend 250 bucks to get something I could have gotten out in the farmers field in the middle of winter ..

"here baby, happy valentines day .. its a corn stalk" ..

ProFlowers had screwed up my last several orders but I decided to give them one more chance. Never again.
I was at home recovering from eye surgery. Ordered Valentine Roses on Jan. 28 to be delivered on Feb. 13, as this was the only gift since we could not go out to dinner, etc.
Roses did not arrive, despite the fact that I emailed them on the 12th and after they supposedly checked, was assured of 13th delivery. Didn't happen/they were not truthful.
I'm done and you should be too.

ProFlowers delivered on or around January 18 or 19 of 2010 a bouquet of flowers sent to me by my son for my birthday.  They delivered them to a door that was obviously not the front door...there was not even door bell. Someone was home that week 24/7 so had they thought to go to the front door and had they chosen to ring the doorbell someone could have taken delivery. Instead, they left the box on a step in very cold temperatures.  They were discovered four days later.  This is quite disappointing since only a minimal amount of effort more would have ensured loyalty to ProFlowers.

IF YOU ASK FOR YOUR MONEY BACK DO IT BY PHONE. I did and it was quite painless. While you are on hold, you will listen to them tell you how great and fresh their flowers are.  You will hear "second to none" several times. Really?? I paid 34 bucks for 8 dollars worth of flowers. Go to a florist or even Safeway. At least you will see what you are bying instead of taking what's in the "box".(let's make a deal):)

I bought flowers from Proflowers and my credit card was also charged for "Encore Marketing/EZ Savers Rewards" AND "freeshipping.com ". I did not authorize any of these charges (totalling $40). If this happened to you, I recommend calling your credit card company and reporting the bogus charges to them so that they can put a merchant block on Proflowers and these other scam operations. I also requested a new credit card to prevent future charges. This is a totally unacceptable business practice, and I will be contacting my local news agency to investigate, as well as reporting them to the state agency in Mass. that investigates  consumer complaints. It is totally absurd to think that Proflowers is operating such an underhanded and deceptive business, and aligning itself with these "companies".

Didn't see the first order because it was delivered out of state.  Saw the second order.  I was not only embarrassed at what I saw but, also disgusted at the ridiculously high price I paid for it.  I eventually found out the recipient of the first order was disappointed with the quality and sparseness of their arrangement (same as the second).  I haven't used them since.

I was a victim of the Proflowers/EZ SVER scam and I sure was pissed off!!  But here is the good news (if there is any) and the fact that no one should even have to go through this, but here is how I got my money back.

I emailed  proflowers with my complaints, and they responded with a generic form letter, basically implying it was my fault for being in the Easy Saver scam.  Now I was even more pissed and shot back another very angry email (even mentioning the fact that they have a generic form letter for their easy saver scam complaints, also the deceptive bait and switch marketing..ect).  Well, now we are gettin somewhere!! I got the full refund of over $200.00 dollars!!

We shouldn't even have to go through this because Proflowers gave our credit card info out and we, the consumer, were charged for the scam they run.  But, I got the money back and will NEVER use them again.

I was very disgusted today when I found out I have been charged every month for at least the past 8 months for an extra $14.95 per month from a company called Easy Saver after placing an order last Mother's Day at Proflowers.  I don't balance my checkbook, so I never noticed the small amount of money missing from my checking account every month.  My online bank statement only goes back 6 statements prior, so I must contact my bank to find out the full amount that I have been charged.  So far, the total is roughly $120.  I can't believe that during such tough times, a company would be so sneaky in taking advantage of someone in such an awful scam.  I will definitely be contacting the company responsible for all the charges and demand my money back.

I purchased flowers for both my mother and my grandmother for mothers day.  The flowers arrived on time and were in great condition.  I was very happy with the results until I started noticing charges from an unknown source (EZ Saver).  There was an unknown number next to a charge of 14.95 and in some cases 3.00.  I didn't really think anything of it since I use this account so often.  I did however notice it again and compared my ledgers to find out that I had not made any purchases from EZ Saver.  I went back and looked at my records and noticed I had been charged 14 times.  Needless to say I immediately googled EZ Saver and found an entire site dedicated to people scammed by this company.  Apparently I was signed up for this ez saver account when I purchased my flowers. I was not given a chance to decline this membership.  Neeedless to say I contacted EZ Saver and after speaking to a rep I was told they could not refund the full 14 months of charges.  The rep said they were only authorized to refund 6 months.  I said that was unacceptable and that they should put me on the phone with someone that was authorized.  After about 3 minutes of being on hold, the same rep came back on the line and told me that they would return the full amount.  Two days later i had all of my unauthorized payments refunded back to my account.  I like most people this has happened to will never use pro flowers nor will I ever recommend them to anyone again. It's almost as expensive as buying. In fact I am only writing this because I just saw a commercial on tv for thier service and was disgusted.

I too got charged $14.95, and there was another charge to "test" the cc #. I claimed a coupon and NEVER gave the coupon fulfillment company any personal information except my email and zip code. The request seemed reasonable for the future discount. Pro Flowers released this information without my knowledge or approval.
I recommend pointing this procedure to the advertising media also.

Ordered form your online service and was charged easy saver membership, you guys sure know how to trick your customers. I told my wife to order from your service because of a recommendation form a friend, I recently checked my wife's statement and noticed a charge from easy saver $14.95 per month, I called them and they said that during checkout form proflowers she checked to join easy saver??? I said she did no such thing, I cancelled the membership but not before they had charged my wife's cc for 9 month's. I will make sure all my friends and family know about you guys, and I will be blogging everywhere about your company. You guys are the lowest of low in online fraud.

I am not complaining about my service, or the product, but I am upset because I was charged an extra $14.95 from EZSVER RW 15200 NBN WAY 800-355-1837 MDUS that I was NOT expecting or was even aware could have been a possibility. I googled EZSVER RW  after I called my bank. I saw that this company was linked to ProFlowers and that others had similar experiences. IF I do not get a refund and an explaination I will NOT be using ProFlowers again in the future and I will make others aware of my experience. However, if this is resolved quickly and without a head ache I will pass that news along too and let everyone know about my great customer service when a mistake took place. Yes, it is only $14.95 BUT I did not agree to pay that and I want my money back ASAP.

Made a single flower arrangement purchase on-line with ProFlowers.com, prior to Christmas 2009.  Today, I discovered an unauthorized charge on my bank account: 01/23/2010, D/C Settlement Easy Saver LOC: 1-800-355-1837 MD; charge $14.95
I did attempt to contact them at the above number.  Prompted me to use my credit card number or telephone to access my account.  I opted to enter my telephone number and then listened to a recording which informed me to call back in their normal business hours.  First, I never signed-up or agreed to purchase this particular item (Easy Saver Program).  Secondly, I'm very upset that a party which is affilliated with ProFlowers would proceed with an unauthorized charge without my permission and/or authority.  Finally, I will not use ProFlowers ever again and strongly encourage others to do the same.  I will follow-up this Monday and demand that they reimburse me for this fraudelent charge.  I will also contact my bank and local authorizes concerning this matter.

I will NOT order from Proflowers again. After I ordered, they automatically enrolled me into the whole 'Easy Saver' program, and tried to scam me out of almost 90 dollars in a 6 month period. The 800 number they gave me on my checking account statement was incorrect and led nowhere. Thank God I found the number on ripoff report. I will get the money back, but it's just crazy what these people do for money these days.

Give me a break. I came across the same charges on my statement. HOWEVER... I am smart enough to check my statement regularly and picked up on the enrollment with the initial charge of $1.95! If you don't check your statements - well, then I call that STUPID. After I called to cancel, I went back to the PRO FLOWERS site and checked to see how "fraudulent" it was. IT'S NOT. A WHOLE page comes up offering a discount on your next purchase... TELLING you that that discount includes the 30 trial of Easy Saver. You actually HAVE to enter your email address AND zip code ANDDDDD click on "enroll me now" !!! If you people can't see that, you don't need to have a credit card OR bank account. I too called to cancel. I spoke with a perfectly lovely customer service representative who was more than helpful in explaining the enrollment process as well as refunding my money. All I had to do was request it. These poor people you are calling have NOTHING to do with the enrollment. They are just the unfortunate souls who have to deal with hotheaded idiots like all of you. What the heck are you getting out of being rude and demanding to these people! It's a job. How would you like people to call YOU all day and yell at you????? You get alot more with honey than with vinegar. LEARN TO READ AND OWN UP TO YOUR OWN MISTAKES. This is a perfectly ligit company. I have looked into it. They have been in business for longer than I am old, and if you think being a bunch of idiots in denial is going to bring them down... well, continue to waste your time. However, I would suggest you spend that time learning to READ rather than yelling about someone "stealing" your money when it's your own fault. Jerks.

I recently placed an order of flowers for my girlfriend, and I was asked if I would like $15 off my next purchase, to which I said sure why not.  Little did I know that Proflowers was going to hand Easy Saver my credit card information to charge me $14.95.  I'm very eccentric about my finances, so I immediately called both businesses, and they willingly refunded it and cancelled my "membership".  It's as if they know what they're doing is shady to bow down like that.  The FTC needs to investigate these thieves.  I will definitely never use Proflowers ever again.

After ordering some flowers for a co worker who had a death in the family, I was apparently automatically signed up for EasySaver rewards.. I never agreed to this. While making a Christmas purchase that would max out my card it was declined. When I called Visa, and reviewed my charges I found a charge for Easy Saver.. after googling it and seeing all the consumer complaints I realized what had happened. Called Easy Saver and this has been going on for 9 months. I guess the smaller charges don't catch my eye. They said they will issue a full refund in 1-2 billing cycles. I will definitely be watching for this.

I will NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER use Proflowers again and have already drafted emails to friends and family, posted on facebook, and sent a complaint to the BBB and the National Complaints Board.

I was scammed by ProFlowers in 2007 and I'm embarrassed to say that I did not catch the $14.95 charge for 7 months. However, after calling ProFlowers (their customer service dept and the marketing directory) I was given a full refund.

Honestly, I'm surprised that ProFlowers is still in business...maybe their profits come solely from the money they scam from consumers.

I will absolutly never use pro flowers again.  By the time the charges add up you are paying more for flowers than for diamonds. It's just crazy. Imagine paying for flowers on the same scale as paying for. I wish I would have read the reviews before, I would never have placed the order if I had. I did however call easy saver right away and tell them to cancel the membership (which to that customer serv rep credit she did without hesitation) and hopefully that will be the end of it. I will be double checking my credit card bill for the next couple months.

I have just noticed this odd charge this morning and had no idea where it was from. After looking into it more, the charges go back to February 2009. I Google searched EZSVER RW and found that people were having the same issue and it was stemming from Proflowers.com. I too just got scammed on this.  I called my credit card company Chase who issues my Visa.  I spoke to their fraud department as this is a complete scam and this is Fraud 101.  I immediately closed my account because I am not going to spend my time contacting easy saver for a scam to be undone. The charges will no longer run through with my old account number.  I bought flowers in February 2009 and got scammed.  I did not realize until recently after several months of charges of $14.95  what was going on here.  Obviously people are still getting scammed even now in December 2009, a full ten months later.   Chase was fully aware of this situation when I callled them.  They have had numerous complaints about this proflowers/easy saver scam.  Proflowers is still doing the scam on thier website so they obviously do not care about stopping this fraud and scheme.  Shame on them.  Proflowers obviously knows what is going on here.  I have ordered flowers from them many times but I will NEVER order from Proflowers.com ever again.  Evidently an attorney out of San Diego has begun a class action lawsuit about this matter.  Here is a link about the lawsuit: http://www.nbcsandiego.com/around-town/shopping/Complaints-Filed-About-ProFlowers.html .   As I said, I will NEVER do business with Proflowers.com ever again.

I keep getting a charge on my credit card from easy saver 18003551837 for 14.95 and I have no clue why I am being charged this. I ordered stuff from proflowers almost a year ago and I have since canceled my account and I should not have this charge on there. Is there anyway I can get it removed?

We had a loss in our immediate family.  My wife's father.  We sent mom flowers to Florida and saw an additional charge on my credit card "EZSAVER RW ID054480346 800-355-1837 MD".  I googled the first part and found several sites stating the above "unauthorized charge".  I'm going to call the #.  I'll be back if unsucessful.  Thanks for the heads up.

I laugh b/c if you or I did this we would be in jail or fined heavy for fraud/robbery/etc. God bless America.

I too got bit by the Easy Saver offer. I don't remember clicking anything since I already had another discount when I ordered the flowers. I called today and asked for my money back. At first I was offered just the last month and then the last three months. When I asked for all of it back (106.60 worth of charges)I was told that would be no problem. It seems they are willing to give the money back but you have to know to ask for it all.

I ordered flowers for my Mom back in May and she loved them. I had not idea about the monthly charges until I took over the family finances this last month.

Thank you so much for the information on this site!

Same as all of you, just as I live in Europe I just cannot call their 800 phone number to complain, so stopping the 14,95$monthly fee is getting very difficult. I also did not notice it since I never used that card and thus never thought any fees could be charged on it...so wrong! they cahrged me during a year! and only have stopped last month...

I had problems like most people on here being charged fees that were not authorized by Easy Saver, Done a lot of homework on this. First of all cancel your credit card and get another, it has been compromised. Also this will stop the revolving charges. Call Pro Flowers at 1-800-355-1837. They now have an optioion #2 that will direct you to an Easy Saver Rep, acually it is another front for Proflowers. When you start to complain they will try to tell you that when you ordered the flowers you signed up for Easy Saver. That is not the case ,when you clicked for their discount, you are automatically enrolled. Do not let them B.S. you. Be calm and forceful to have you removed from their accounts. Be sure and get their cancellation number they give you.You can go back to your bank and fill a claim for the unauthorized charges that Easy Saver has charged you. The bank then will file a complaint if they are any good. My last recommendations for you is to file a complaint to your local BBB. File a written complanit to Proflowers and request reimbursement for those charges. Lastly tell God and everyone NOT to use Proflowers.

good luck

Proflowers Scam / EZSVER / Easy Saver Ripoff

-----------------------------------

Yesterday I was going through my credit card statement and discovered unknown charge $14.95 from some EZSVER.

After googling EZSVER, I found that other people having same problem and those unauthorized charges are related to Pro Flowers

In August 2009 I ordered flowers from proflowers.com and, starting next month, unauthorized charges from EZSVER started.

-------------

If you got this kind of transaction on your credit/debit card statement and having no clue what is that about - you are victim of pro flowers/ezsaver ripoff.

EZSVER RW ID056185594 800-355-1837 MD $14.95

If you contact Pro Flowers, they will try to convince you that you willingly submitted your personal information and signed up for this "service".

Don't let it go!
Call your bank and tell them that there has been fraudulent activity within your account, file a dispute, and demand return of ALL money!

I just can't believe Pro Flowers gave away my credit card information!

Waiting when people, who can afford an attorney, will start legal process and, hopefully, it will become a massive class action.

New Jersey

Scammed with monthly $9.94 "FreeShipping" + $14.95 "Easy Saver" charges after ordering from Pro Flowers, difficult to cancel charges.

Any advice on how to (1) cancel charges (2) get credit, and (3) stop these unscrupulous business practices?

I ordered flowers for my sick sister-in-law from pro-flowers. 5 months later I realised that Easy Savers has been charging me $14.95 a month for their membership which I did not sign up for. After finally getting a hold of some one on the number they gave (800-355-1837). I was able to cancle the account and they said they will be crediting my account the amount that they charged over the past month. Now I will be awaiting impatiently the money they stole from me. If you order anything online be very careful of what buttons you push and pay close attention to all charges on your accounts.

I have been receiving a service charge in the amount of ($14.95) from ENCORE MKTG 1-877-699-962 on my American Express card each month for a very long time. Every time I try to contact this number I get a recording. Please discontinue the service. You do not have my permission to use my American Express to charge this monthly fee. I have reported this charge from ENCORE MKTG to my credit card company. I do not even know what this is for. I finally found that it was linked to Proflowers. Please send me a notice that you have discontinued this monthly fee and reimburse me for the charges that made to my account. Like I said, when I call the number I get a recording stating that this number is not a working number, but the number shows up on my credit card statement each month. I do not even know what I have been charged for. Have never heard of ENCORE MKTG. Thank you for your quick response to this email. Cindy Love

I ordered flowers for my daughters 7th birthday. After noticing a few charges, and after consulting my wife, we discovered that easy savers was somehow charging me 14.95 a month, for a while now!  I will never use anybody but my local florist, nor will I ever recommend Proflowers. In fact, I will tell everybody that will listen about my, and apparently a lot of others, unwilling participation in a horrible internet scam.  The total amount I've been charged is at least $44.85, possibly $59.80 at most.  This is not good business!

Same routine. Been getting charged $14.95 since Mother's Day by these EZ Saver turds. I think I was roped in with some, "Free Shipping," diversion. Funny how I distinctly remember looking at my CC bill after the purchase and realized that I never even received the free shipping!

Another funny thing. I lost the CC I used to make this transaction and had it replaced. The charges never stopped! They're somehow able to still charge my new CC with a new number. These people need to be kicked in the teeth.

They are willing to refund. Thanks to the other "victims" who gave me the connection between ProFlowers and Encore Mktg.

I sent an email to comments@customercare.proflowers.com complaining about these charges. The explanation I got was that I enrolled by accepting the offer for $15 off on my next purchase.

ProFlowers told me to call 1-800-355-1837  to cancel. Just did. EasySaver Rewards aka Encore Mktg readily agreed to give me a refund for all 6 charges on my account - totalling $76.70.

I trust that they will honor their word.

I will never use Proflowers again.  I expressly remember being offered the Easy Saver program and declining.  So, either in the ordering process it is necessary to sign up for this program in order to complete the order (which is unbeknown to the customer) or they disregard your wishes entirely and sign you up regardless, because lo-and-behold I apparently am signed up for this rip-off.  I have been charged $76.70 total before I realized what this was.  I called Proflowers and was told they couldn't do anything, my representative couldn't even give me the phone number for Easy Saver b/c his computer was down, so he suggested I call back and wait in queue again for a different rep with a functioning computer system.  So I finally get the Easy Saver number (800-355-1837) and call, complain, demand a refund and am promised a full refund and no further charges....let's see how that goes.

I recently experienced credit card fraud with ProFlowers.com and wanted to get the story out there because it seems as though I am not the first person this has happened to.
I ordered some flowers from them online for my mom's birthday last week, as I have used them in the past without a problem.  Everything seemed to go off without a hitch; the flowers arrived on-time and in great condition, as usual.

Then today, I was checking my debit card statement online and noticed there was a charge for $14.95 from a company I didn't recognize and I started to research this to find out what it was. The merchant was listed on my statement as EZSVER RW ID055181287, so I copied and pasted the first part (EZSVER RW) into my browser and was shocked at the search results. You can see some of these results at the following link:
http://search.yahoo.com/search?ei=utf-8&fr=slv8-hptb2&p=EZSVER%20RW

It looks like this has been a scam for quite some time and I immediately contacted ProFlowers to see if there was a way to reverse this charge and keep it from repeating every month.  The woman I spoke with told me that I must have "accidentally" clicked the accept button on a pop-up that came up while I was checking out from my order with them. Then, I was simply given a phone number and told that I had to cancel the monthly service myself. Of course, I sent them a complaint e-mail, but I don't know if this will do any good. I also disputed the charge with my bank, but I won't be able to contact the EZSVER merchant to cancel the service until business hours tomorrow.

This whole thing is very disturbing to me because I never entered my debit card information anywhere other than the ProFlowers check-out page, so even if I did click on that pop-up (which I specifically remember closing out), then I should've still had to have given my debit card number to this other company. This means ProFlowers is just handing out credit/debit card numbers and information without client authorization. How can this be legal? PLEASE HELP!! Simply boycotting them for the rest of my life just isn't enough...

Thank you for your time,
Mandi Broderson

I purchased flowers from ProFlowers several times.  I believe the last time
was in Sept of 2008.  After doing some back-tracking, I discovered that is
also when my credit card started being charged $14.95 every month.  I always
scan my credit card bill, but I put a lot of charges on my credit card every
month, so I never actually noticed the $14.95 that was hitting me every
month.  If I did see the $14.95, I probably mistook if for the $14.00 we
give automatically to St. Jude's Hospital every month.  Anyway, I recently
started using a new credit card, leaving very few charges on the old credit
card and then I notice it a couple of days ago.  So, it turns out that I've
been giving them $14.95 every month for the last 12 months and I don't even
know who they are or what they do.  That works out to be $179.40 that I've
paid them.  Today I filed a complaint with the BBB.  I also cancelled
whatever membership I may have had with these scammers.

Thank you for your posts!!!   i am so pissed and immediately thought - "i can't be alone".  i purchased a bouquet from proflowers this summer, thinking they are a reputable company.  i remember thinking oh a $15 coupon how nice.  i DO NOT remember signing anything about a membership.  i can't believe proflowers gave this bogus company my credit card info.  i will never do business with them again.  shame, really.

When i saw the "easysvr" charge on my account yesterday, i immediately contacted the bank.  they returned information saying it was listed as a "nondescript company".  when i called the number, i asked for a link to the website, and the customer service girl asked for which company saying they have 32 companies!!!  imagine all the scams!  AND she was so quick to refund the money and all apologies, i am CERTAIN that they are trained to do so, so they do not receive further complaint and are banking on the fact that many people never catch the transaction.  in fact, there was a 2nd debit for 14.95 that i did not catch in our travels cross country.  i am going to contact proflowers next.

I have been charged $14.95/month since 1/2009 for a service I did not agree to. The option appeared as a pop up and in the process of eliminating it I apparently inadvertently agreed to the service. I have called Easy Saver MD and they have agreed to credit the money back. By way of a suggestion, buying flowers would be better served without confusing other options popping up at every turn. .

I have over a year's worth of charges from some company called Easy Saver on my credit card. I never auhorized this information to be released to them to begin with and haven't ordered flowers since so there would be no reason for me to click on the 15.00 off thing that all the websites say that people have to click on in order to have this rip of scam begin to charge my account.

Not only do we get charged, but the company has a hard tim paying according to all of the reports on the web that I found regarding this.

You are hurting your business being associated with a business that scams people out of their money.

I'll never order a single thing from your company again.

Thank you,

In Jan '09 I ordered a gift basket for someone in the hospital. Ordering online was an easy enough experience and the gift basket arrived on time and was well received.

Unfortunately, this purchase commenced a credit card nightmare: while going through the process of ordering the flowers on the Proflower's site, I was given the option to receive a $15 discount/rebate on my next purchase from Proflowers by an affiliate, "Easy Savers". I clicked "yes" and then submit.

What "Easy Savers" doesn't state is that by selecting "yes" to the $15 dollars off  my next purchase I am automatically signed up for their $14.95/month membership.

Proflowers gave them my credit card details without my consent (surely Proflowers, or even Easy Savers, would have created an extra step, perhaps a confirmation screen like they do before you purchase the flowers that states "you are consenting to join Easy Savers, a separate organization who will begin to bill your credit card within 30 days for the amount of $14.95 per month until you cancel your membership!" But no, nowhere was this stated, or implied in their $15 offer).

I contacted my credit card company who spoke with Easy Savers and the full amount is being refunded. Interestingly, the Easy Savers' Customer Rep confirmed that the offer does not state nor imply you will be billed or that Proflowers will give them your credit card information, but it is stated in the Easy Savers Terms & Conditions. And to view that, you can simply go to their site!

This is my first time being duped on the web, after years of online purchases. I'm only sharing this because a couple thousand customers have filed a complaint withwww.rippedoff.com and www.badbusinessbureau.com, both helpful sites that tell you how to get your money back.

Because of this, I cannot recommend Proflowers because they help (by association and online support) Easy Savers who, in my opinion, uses deceptive tactics.

Thank you.

Pro Flowers, what a scam company, bought flowers in Febuary 2009 and they sold my name and credit card information to EZSVER RW, first charge was $1.95 and then $14.95 each month for the past 6 months, contacted credit card company to stop charges but they state I signed up for this bogus program (still don't know what it is they sell or provide), still trying to get this off my credit card, traced it back to Pro Flowers who offered a $15 discount coupon the next time I ordered, they didn't give me any notice that they were selling my information to this company, what a scam.  BEWARE, DO NOT ORDER FLOWERS FROM PRO FLOWERS.COM

I have been a Pro Flowers Customer for a while now.  My 2nd order with them was very disappointing when I ordered 2 dozen roses for my wife on a specific day with all my family.  All the women in my family received their orders from their respective spouses except mine.  I was the only one who used Pro Flowers then.  After calling customer service they refunded my purchase and gave me a discount on my next order.  More recently I placed an order for Mother's Day and the tulips I got were horrible! Two were practically dead.  Again, I called customer service and they allowed me to purchase another order of equal value and gave me a discount for a future order.  Today I just discovered the EZSVR charges to my CC and I immediately called both EXSVR and Proflowers.  EZSVR tells me they will refund my money and ProFlowers apologized and told me someone would contact me this week from their Corporate HQ.  I will decide then whether I will ever use them again.

That all said, ProFlowers usually sends very nice flowers which usually last a lot longer than any other place I've ordered from.  I really do not want to stop my business with them but they are really starting to piss me off here.  Again, I await their call.

Horrible experience. Proflowers.com engages in an unfair and deceptive business practice of enrolling you in a program whereby "Encore Marketing" charges you $14.95/month indefinitely.  Simply google proflowers and encore marketing to get a sense of the scam.  Boycott this company at all costs.

I ordered flowers from Proflowers and they were fine. But somehow, Proflowers gave EZSVER RW my credit card number and enrolled me to the membership of that company. In the following months, I got charged $14.9 each month for the so-called "membership fee" from whom I have never got any service. This is too much. Beware of what you have done to order flowers through the Internet, especially from Proflowers.

My 92 year old grandfather is a regular proflowers customer and has always been satisfied with his service, until recently.  He was scammed by Easy Saver which apparantly has some deal with proflowers where they try to lure people in by offering some sort of shipping rebate.  In actuality, proflowers gives Easy Saver personal information and then goes on to charge a monthly fee on the credit cards of unsuspecting, innocent, 92 year old, WWII Veteran's like my grandfather.  Shame on proflowers for being so shady!

I have been a good customer and happy with pro flowers, but, I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. do to the easy savers / proflowers scam.  It is a shame that a great company would pair up with banking telemarketing scam artists.  Just do a google search for pro flowers/easy saver scam. These companies (easy savers/budget savers) are dragging the company down. They have been taking money, they sell your information and make unauthorized charges without your will.  If you ever plan to make proflowers legitimate company again, I recommend that you drop this partnership and make a public apology to all the customers that have been wronged.  I know that I am not the first so take heed, your company is blackballed on many financial institutions and I will be calling mine today, recommending the very same.  Shame on you for poor dealing with scumbags.

My wife and I have used the Proflowers website to order flowers for approximately five years. Unfortunately, due to their less than honest practices in relation to the Easy Saver coupon scam (for more info on this just Google "Easy Saver scam and/or fraud"), we will never order from them again.  We lost approx $50 before we finally caught on to the scam.  What amazes me is that Proflowers have continued this coupon scam despited all the bad publicity.  Apparently, Proflowers is making quite a hefty kick back fee from Easy Saver to overcome any worry of losing custumors.  I guess it comes down to a cost/benefit analysis.  This is sad.

I have ordered twice from Pro Flowers and am not happy at all with the way they handle deliveries.

I sent flowers for a friend's b'day in May and they were delivered at 10:00 in the morning and she arrived home to find them after 5.  It was a very hot day so I can imagine how they looked.

I ordered flowers to be delivered yesterday and my friend just called and said she received flowers this morning for her b'day.  I said they were supposed to be delivered yesterday.  I called customer service and she said we use fed ex and ups so I don't know if they rang the bell or just left them by the door but they were delivered last night.  The end.  THat is ridiculas!  I told her they take the recipients phone # so I assumed they would call first like a normal florist does.  She said the driver only calls that if he can't find the house.  O.K.!!!
Won't use PRO FLOWERS again!!!!!!!!!!

Proflowers delivers great flowers, and then steals $14.95 per month from you until you catch it.  I am done.  This company is clearly in on the SCAM with Easy Savers or Encore Marketing - whichever name they choose.  And on your credit card bill, the phone number conveniently leaves off the last digit.  I would love to see some executives fried on this one.  It is theft at its finest!

It's not just Proflowers. My wife ordered from Shari's Berries, and we got a bill for $1.95 for "Easy Saver Rewards" from "Encore Marketing." The credit card charge included a phone number, which I called, and they said she clicked on a $15 certificate, which signed her up for this scam of billing every month. The guy said they'll refund the money, and cancel the charges.

We'll see...

Pro-Flowers.com is a Scam...do not click on anything that offers a shipping discount, free shipping or a rebate on future orders.  They took my credit card information and spread it to multiple marketing companies where I was charged a monthly fee of $9.97 and $14.95 wihtout my authorizaton.  I spent days on the phone canceling these accounts and arguing with them to get my money back.  When I went directly to Pro-Flowers to complain about it, I got a standard template from the customer service department more than one time.  Seriously, who would pay upfront for "free" or "discounted"offers...can you be that dumb.

Hello. I would like to warn you about a charge that came up on my statement from Easy Savers for 14.95 and has been showing up for the last five months. I know I know, shame on me for slacking on diligently checking my itemized checking account statements (it's been busy around this house! And I won't be doing that again!) However, apparently when I went to buy my dear sweet Mom flowers for her birthday at PROFLOWERS.COM I inadvertently was signed up for the Easy Savers Rewards program, whatever that is. Now. I read fine print, I really do. I don't go around shopping on every Internet site available, although in my ideal world that is what I would do, while eating donuts and having my feet rubbed. And I saw no fine print that assigned me to an Easy Saver Membership Program. Besides, I've never been much of a member of anything, at least not since High School. I have reaped no benefits from the Easy Saver rewards Program except the drainage of dollars from my very slim bank account every month. You may think.hmm 14.95? "What is she complaining about, that is nothing?". Well, let's just say that for a family who has a sprightly 3 year who grows by the minute, has only one full time employed worker and a husband in school full time, 14.95 is a lot. It is like to dinners at McDonald's, or 3 at Taco Bell. It is 5 gallons of milk a month and 3 and ½ boxes of cereal. So essentially Easy Savers/ Proflowers, you guys have robbed me and starved my son. My poor helpless son who only wanted his Grandmother to have nice flowers on her birthday.

DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM PROFLOWERS.COM!  Even if you do not complete the transaction - if you choose free shipping they sell your cc info and you get charged from TWO different companies for "subscriptions" to scam sites that charge your cc every month!  One charge will come from EASY SAVER 800-355-1837 MD for $14.95 per month and another charge for $9.97 per month will be from WWW.FREESHIPPING.COM.  It is a HUGE mess to try to get these things canceled and to get all your money back.  By being in business with these two scam companies - that makes PROFLOWERS a SCAM as well.

Since ordering from ProFlowers in May 2009, I have received three unauthorized charges on my credit card - the first $1.95, then two charges of $14.95.  The description of the charge on my credit card statement is:  ENCORE MKTG 1-877-699-962 (an incomplete phone number), Merchandise - DIRECT MARKETING - CATALOG.

I found two different phone numbers for the company (Encore Marketing / Easy Saver) from posts on complaintsboard.com and ripoffreport.com by other customers who had also been scammed.  The numbers I called were 1-888-595-9380 and 1-800-355-1837.  It was an automated system on both numbers and I was not able to speak to a representative as the system said that they were 'closed' and 'to call back during normal business hours' (9am-9pm M-F Eastern Standard Time), even though I called during normal business hours on a Friday.

To add insult to injury, the flowers that I ordered from ProFlowers looked nothing like the picture on the website.  They were scrawny, wilted and damaged and a total embarrassment.

Bottom line:  DO NOT ORDER FROM PROFLOWERS.

Friggin HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS of complaints about this very issue! Greeeat...called the bank and am filing a dispute, went to the BBB and filed a complaint online, of course I called the 800# for easysaver and got the oh-so-Perky-Person to cancel my membership that I didn't know I had, never had any communication with them, nothing ever. Hopefully I'll get my money back. Has ANYONE EVER been refunded by these jerks yet? Just curious...Oh FYI - I know I did NOT click on anything. Amended comment from 5/19/09:

ProFlowers promised to replace the sub-standard, dead-within-3-days potted roses I ordered, but alas, when I checked with the recipient, she said they never came. When I checked with ProFlowers they said I did not confirm that I wanted the back-ordered, replacement flowers sent. Confirm? Why do you think I called to complain in the first place? Who is minding the store there? If "We Care" means anything, you'd think they would have checked back to satisfy a customer of 5 years.

Guess I'm not worth that much trouble.

I purchased flowers for my mother in March. I was very impressed with the bouquet that arrived and so was my mother. It's too bad that I will NEVER refer or use this company again. I was apalled at the fact that I was inadvertently signed up for a program called "Easy Saver Rewards" which steals "YES STEALS" $14.95 out of my bank account of my hard earned wages. I did not sign up for this program nor did I receive any compensation back from this FRAUD COMPANY. I had to change my account and WILL NEVER use this company -PROFLOWERS ever again! I love you, Jennifer...well the flowers came and the card said Happy Mother's day I love you, Love your son, Jeff.   Now by pure coincidence I happen to have a brother named Jeff, so when my mother received the flowers she thought they were from him and went on and on all day to everyone about how sweet it was that he had sent her the flowers, since it was very out of character for him,so she calls her son, Jeff, to thank him for the nice gift, yeah well he didn't send them and he told her sorry it was not him...it was very embarrassing for him, I went over to her house and looked at the flowers and realized that they were the flowers that I had ordered, I explained the situation to her and I was then very embarrassed, as was she for going on and on to everyone about how Jeff had gotten her the flowers when really he had not...I called Proflowers and told them I was very upset that they had made this mistake and the girl on the phone was so rude saying well I guess if you think its necessary we can replace it...I was like um yeah I think you better...and then she goes on and on about how she would be sure to make a note of the incident in my account and that this had better not happen again, like it was somehow my fault or because of something I had done...she was attacking my like all I wanted was free stuff...I was mortified...I then told her that I had the incorrect card with the order number of the order it actually belonged to with me and that I would be happy to give it to her so that she could call Jeff and tell him that his mother would also be receiving the wrong card, so that at least, unlike me, he would be somewhat prepared for the awkwardness...and if you can even believe it she says "oh no, it won't matter there is nothing we can do anyway..it will just be another situation like yours" I was like um yeah you could call him and at least tell him...and she absolutely refused to take the order number, I was like wow...what horrible customer service..she could easily pull this customer's account up and give him a call, it would take 2 seconds of her life and yet, no, she would not.  The least she could have done would be to take the order number and just pretend she actually cared, even if she just tossed it in the trash when we got off the phone so I at least Thought she might do something about the situation, that would be better than basically saying well screw you and him we don't care if you got the wrong card and even if we know that is what is going to happen and could call to warn you...well we are not going to be doing that...after that I just told her to forget it and that I didn't want them to send anything I would just go buy her my own card and that I would not be ordering from their company again, and she says, "ok...well have a nice day" I was like yeah whatever...and they never sent me anything...they truly did not care whether I was a customer or not and cared nothing about keeping my business so I am going to take my business where its actually appreciated.  Just wanted to share my experience.  Thanks!!

The flowers were fine but you signed me up for an Easy Saver membership that I could not afford or want in the first place.  I recieved a surprise charge of 14.95 on my checking account that I never asked for.  What kind of buisness are you running?  I called Easy Saver and they said they would credit my account but if I do not see my money back in the 7 to 10 days I was told be prepaired to hear from my lawyer.

My fiance and I both ordered flowers from proflowers for family on mothers day. I just noticed I was being scammed by easy saver for 14.95... I called the 1800 # for them and it let me cancel my membership that I was unaware I even had. I will update when I know it did work and I dont get charged next month =[ I am very angry though!

I THINK PROFLOWER ASSOCIATION WITH EASY SAVER IS A BIG SCAM...YOU TAKE MONEY OUT OF PEOPLE'S ACCOUNT AND CLAIM IT TO BE RIGHTLY YOURS.  PLEASE STOP THIS.  THE FACT THAT A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE COMPLAINING ABOUT IT SHOULD MAKE YOU REALIZE THERE'S SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE TRANSACTIONS...IT'S NOT YOUR MONEY!!!

I also have been scammed by Proflowers and Easy Saver.  After receiving two credit card charges of 14.95, they said that I received a free trial when I bought flowers and had to cancel the service.  I never knew of this.  They said I received email notification, which I never did.  I am out the 30 bucks unless I fill out all the contesting charges paperwork with my credit card company.  This is no way to do business!

During my last order I got "steered" into the Easy Saver" scam and immediately canceled and received a "cancellation number".  Days later I got an e-mail indicating I was a member.  I phoned and was assured I was not a member and was not getting billed.  Well, the following Saturday I received my Visa statement and sure enough Easy Saver billed me.  You cannot reach an Easy Saver representative during weekends.  I did reach a Proflowers rep and he assured me this matter would be corrected.  This morning I did receive an e-mail from Proflowers actually DEFENDING their Easy Saver practices but they also stated I would be credited what Easer Saver billed me for.
I actually liked using Proflowers over the years but I have lost confidence in how they do business.

After telling my story on this site on 5/14/09 I received a Tweet advising me of the ProFlowers customer service number: 800-580-2913. The ProFlowers customer service rep arranged to send a replacement order AND give me 20 percent off my next order. They do work VERY hard to make their customers happy.

Editor's note: good to hear.

Had been a ProFlowers customer for years. Their cust. svc. used to be great -- any problems, they would resolve immediately!

Late March I sent birthday flowers to a friend. What arrived had half the blooms and half the "bulk" of the online photo. Photos sent to ProFlowers cust. svc. (deceptively named WeCare@ProFlowers.com) got no response. Details included in their after-purchase, independent survey got no response. Mind you, this was BEFORE Mother's Day. I understand there were MANY problems that weekend.

I vow to Google a local florist and order locally from now on. You blew it, ProFlowers!

Ordered flowers then got billed $1.95, $14.95 two months for Easy Service before I noticed. Never heard of them. Called the 800 number that told me to enter my cc number or "membership" number. Fat chance I would do that. Disputing the cc charges. Contacting media. Will never use Proflowers again or any of their associates!

I received spam form proflowers, and after numerous attempts to speak to someone other than a customer service rep, goit hooked up with someone who was somewhat helpful.  I asked for the ip #, date and time stamp, and site where I gave them permission to spam me.  After some research, I was called back and was told that the spam came from a 3rd p[arty's affiliate, and gave me the name and number of the third party marketer.  I called this company, and they swore up and down that they do not deal with any florists.  I once again called my contact at proflowers, left a message, and he called me back saying he needed to check with his corporate counsel to see if they could release any additional information to me.

In a nutshell, they have total disregard for non-customer's privacy, and feel they can hire ANY internet marketer, and hide behind "privacy" issues and not disclose any additional information.

They acted as though I should have been satisfied that they were able to unsubscribe me from their spam, as though I was incapable of doing that myself.

When I asked why I should have to unsubscribe to any spam that I did not request, I could not get a valid answer.  When I asked about MY privacy rights, again, I was not given a coherent answer.

I have to wait until the mother's day holdiay is over to speak to the corporate counsel,  It should be very ionteresting to see how he defends his company's spammer.  I will further update you on this as this case unwinds.

I've used Pro Flowers in the past and had a good experience.  My son has been sending me fruit once a month for two years.  We had a good experience.  Then, he found out he was being charged $14.95 a month for Easy Saver.  He did not click on any coupons.  What a fraud.  We will no longer buy from Pro Flowers.  I've sent an email to all of my family & friends telling them to boycott Pro Flowers.  From what I can tell, this scam has perpetuated for at least six years.  Why hasn't anything been done about it?  Where is the media?  Why aren't they reporting this?  Let's get the word out to everyone!

Purchase did not arrive even after spending additional 20 dollars for delivery.  Proflowers knew ahead of time that the purchase would not arrive on time yet took my money and sent the purchase (which would be rotten by the time they were delivered).  Ruined wife's birthday.  No satisfaction from customer service.  Will never use again.

Your company must be aware of the business practices of Easy Saver and the fraudulent billing of $1.95,$14.95,and again $14.95 to my account without full disclosure or confusing disclosure that is associated with purchasing from your business. I will not be doing business with your company since your connection with Easy Saver and I will be contacting Iowa Attorney General Tom Miller with this matter. You will hearing from his office.

I was looking at my credit card and notice i had a charge for 14.95  it came from Easysaver which is from Proflower
I will have to call them to remove the charges its not a question that they will, but it seem to be others are having the same problem. So it seem that this practice is Deliberate, and if you catch it fine if not they made money....if you multiply 14.95 by 100k or 300k they're getting away with a lot of money.
